This Lioness believe it or not killed two Impalas and then tried a third kill she looked confused and was struggling to keep the vultures away from the Impala kills.
She made two kills the same morning and attempted a third.....
This was seen in Kruger National Park near the Sabie River. The video shows some amazing hunting skills of a Lioness and it was very interesting behaviour, I hope you enjoy it. Yes, I did make some typo's in the video guess I was too excited to get it out and late at night I made a bobo here and there hehehe.
Anyway, that does not keep away the amazing sighting that we had while on safari with Private Kruger Safaris in the Kruger National Park from Hazyview.
If you like the video by me a coffee that will be highly appreciated and will let me keep on going in making better content for you to watch on KZfaq about the African Wildlife.

Compliments to producer. This was beyond excellent. I applaud your decision to allow the “sounds of nature” to provide narration. The quality of video was like “being there”. I’ve watched hundreds of hours, have been in Krueger, the Mara, and Tanzania, and your video was a close 2nd to being there. Thanks again.

Lions aren't that smart. I saw a lion video once where the (male) lion had two kills - a hundred metres apart. When he went to one of them, scavengers would start consuming the other one. He'd then dash over to that one, and, guess what, the scavengers would go to the one he'd just left. The idea of pulling one over to the other never occurred to him.

A most unusual hunt by what I suspect is an older, experienced lioness. Although she had cubs to feed, it is still highly unusual for a lone lioness to make two kills in quick succession. I'm wondering if she thought there wasn't enough food there for the three of them on one smallish impala. More typical behavior would be to kill and eat one impala, then kill and eat another. Love the video quality, BTW.

How did the first attack charge succeed? I'd think that the impala's superior speed would allow it to escape the lion, right? Or is there something im not taking into account

Hi I use a NIkon D500 with a 200-500 lens for this movies so around 750mm zoom if you take crop frame into consideration.
