This year's system Student placement is very good but for sde and ml/data scientist placement is ok ok. No big name like Google, MS, APPLE, GOLDMAN,ADOBE, LL,AMAZON, Flipkart,AMD,DELL,SAP,critix Walmart,Harman,Morgan Stanley ,tower research ETC. They are not in IISc😢😢 Seriously 😬

Dada , what is ur take on next year placement in IISC for cds/ai. Branch ? I mean next yr placement will also get effected by the recession going on world wide ?

It depends on the market situation. Last year it was good, so placement happened well. Before that after covid market situation was not that good, so placement hampered everywhere including all iits and iisc. This year also same situation. I am trying to understand all the reasons and may be will make a video.

System roles are roles like computer architecture, OS, compiler related roles. Students who work on these areas used to get these roles. On the contrary, AI ML roles are those roles which is datascience related roles. Those who work on AI or Machine learning will get these jobs. I am trying hard to get data about Iitkgp and iitb. Will surely make a video on that.

Can any student from Civil Or Mechanical can choose Data Science or AI this branch in M.Tech ?? For this they have to appear for those subjects in Gate exam ?? Pls clear this doubt

Dada , those who work in theory domain in Mtech(research) what type of companies they target? is there any scope in industry with MTech/MS research branch in theory domain or its only research? Actually I am interested to do research in Theory domain but keep placement as backup , I will be giving GATE in 2025 so asking this .

Theory people focuses on both SDE and data science roles. Who works on algorithm they focus on DSA and SDE roles. Those who works on ML theory focus on data science

4 years of career gap fo preparing for UPSC, do you think I should go for Mtech ? I'm not really getting any opportunities right now. I have been thinking about it since long. Do you think I should go for GATE ? I already have a lot of gap ? will it prove to be hindrance in my placement suppose if manage to pursue it through IISc or any top IIT ? Please do reply

Gap won't affect placement if you make sure you will join some good iits or iisc. If you feel you can secure a good iit with a very good gate rank, go with it.

Study during Mtech, get good grades, do quality projects.. Gap will not be an issue. Just make sure to explain it in a positive manner what things you learnt during the break

Base means the basic salary component of your package, like what you will get every month. On top of that there are some variables like joining bonus, yealry bonus., stock which you will get once in a year. Summing up both you get your CTC Avg Salary is the avg of all students in a placement session

@@kishalaydas means ap Jo bol rahe the ki kaun kaunsi company ne CSA k kis field walo ko kaisa package dia hai. Like CTC breakdown. Jese detailed me apne last year Wale placement video me bataya tha jisme 80 lpa highest Gaya tha.
