instead of painting in the light tower you cut it out of the existing colors and then just accented it with shadows and highlights, that is so genius

your clouds are so amazing and the way you make them looks so much easier than the traditional stencil way I've always done it and they've never looked as good as yours. I've learned a lot from watching your techniques, i've always used poster board for painting but because i don't think your techniques will work well on smooth poster board i just bought large canvases for the first time just so i can try some of your techniques ......

are you using framed canvas or solid canvas board????

Framed canvas my friend, a slightly elastic fabric makes it easier to work with the palette knife.

i've always used poster board, it always seemed like having the canvas flex would make knifing harder especially when using longer scrapers to cut out things like city scapes, i'll have to scrape up some money and buy a couple canvases to give it a try, thanks@@ispray6733
