Plaice in the Sun: Brighton Marina, Tips and Tactics, Loads of Fish

I fished Brighton Marina East Wall. With weather conditions perfect, and the May rot easing off, it looked spot on! Armed with fresh lug and lovely dug rag, I took the long walk from the car park to the arm. In the video, I go through my rig choices, baiting up, and talk tactics for catching plaice. I also tried to catch summer species 'down the side' to see if I could get a mixed bag. Check out the video to see if it paid off!

nice plaice that, i really want to try and catch one, may have to head to brighton for a try, good for you fishing in this heat, i was going today but its way to hot for me, great video as always

Gemma you have spider crabs we're I fish the thames we have the invasive Chinese mitten crabs the only good thing is I still keep me hooks.By the way nice nice session.

Good session I was there a few weeks back had a nice sole but the plaice was also on the sole rigs while the plaice rigs were untouched the debate goes on does atracter beads catch more fisherman than fish

Lovely to hear! And yeah, I used to use bling now I go stealthy except for pop up beads which add movement and, thus, attraction.

It often sounds loud on film because it’s very close to the mic. Plus I don’t clean it as often as I should… 🤪

It says four hours on the signs. It’s very rare, from what I’ve heard, for it to be enforced. People suggest keep the fishing ticket to prove you were using the marina legitimately just in case. I’ve never had an issue.
