One thing to make these more achievable is being more specific. Like instead of “be more greatful” try “enjoy the little things (flowers, rainy days, etc) and instead of “be more organized” try “clean my desk and maintain it” etc This helped me out, I hope it helps you too!

awesome!! i really think we have almost the same goals!! cuz i wanna be more grateful, MORE organized, then i wanna manage my time - never waste it so i dont have to rush and stress in the end!! how old are you my friend? i'm only 12, you're probably older and thats why us having the same goals is weird!!

Glue tape is a game changer! I used to be the same, but even the cheapest one from the craft store will do the trick!

My goal this year is to become happier. As in, trying my best to take care of myself and accepting myself more. I got an amazing job last year and that was one of my biggest goals for a few years. The next one is getting my own place but before that I need to get my mental health in check so I could actually live on my own. :) So yea. That's my goal for this year!

Hi! I started that last year and it was tough to keep up with it sometimes and that is okay. When you forget a few days, just write about what you do remember, thats always better than nothing. It was really helpfull for me to have the journal in plain sight so that i wouldn't forget to write in it. What also was helpfull was to write in it at the same time every night (for me that was right before i went to sleep). Goodluck :)

You don't need a bullet journal to start! you can get a really cute cover notebook then start from there! that is what I did when I was a beginner.

My goals for 2022 are -to stop bitting my nails (i do cause of my anxiety) -stop caring about others opinions of me -get my assessments done and hand them in on time -study for exams

I started bullet journaling half way through last year as a way to connect with my emotions and thoughts. It’s become a huge part of my life and has helped me through a lot. Okay, but, Amanda, I don't think you understand how impactful you are to me and my bullet journal experience. I remember your JAN18 spread like the back of my hand. Every single time I went to make a January spread or calendar, I thought of you and your fireworks. January is my birth month and I have always related it to being snowed in and cancelling my birthday parties, lonely winter breaks, and a general boring time because it's so close to Christmas and my family was never able to do two big celebrations growing up because of money. That spread from 2018 was a literal turning point in my life, thank you.

This year I trully want to take my skincare seriously, I don't have much acne (thankfully) but I still want to take better care of my skin. I also want to start to look into personal finances and avoid overspending! My last big goal would be to get my drivers liscense! Those are my main 2022 goals

Pencils do usually work on black paper and as she mentioned you could also draw them on the white notebook paper. Maybe acrylic paints on black if you want that (but they might stick I don’t know that☺️) Or drawing on white paper and cutting them out, sticking the cut-out onto the black

I had a very low goal for last year: finish most of the crafts I started. Only going into the new year with two unfinished (one I didn't have my sewing machine for a long time after I moved and two I started just after Christmas). Next year's goals: go to the library more, do my physio, workout more consistently and keep up with my journal

This theme is so pretty, I love the look of the calendar. I'll try to recreate this next month, since I've already done my January set up. I'm not making any big resolutions this year, I never stick to them for long and end up feeling like a failure by the end of January. The only goal I'm setting for myself is keeping up with yoga and expand my practice. I've started yoga mid-august. I stopped reading/watching the news before bed and I use that time to do a yoga video. (I'm not ignoring what is happening in the world, I just watch the news during the day and not at bed time). I've been doing it everyday ever since I started. Sometimes it's only 15 min, sometimes 1 hour, but I haven't miss a day since then. I wouldn't say it has changed my life but it has definitely help me calm down at night and my flexibily has improved a lot. Also, it might sound pretentious, but I kind of feel proud of myself for doing something good for me for once. So that really is the only goal I'm setting for myself. There are still other things I want to do, small things like watch more films, listen to new albums instead of listening to the same songs over and over, but I'm not setting any number cause I never reach them. I wanted to watch 50 new films this year but I didn't watch any, not even one, so yeah...not focusing on numbers this year 😂 I wish you a happy new year Amanda, I love watching your videos, your art and your sweet personality always bringhten my days. You're like a cute little sister I want to see being happy and do well. P.S: I LOVE your cardigan,it looks so warm and comfy 😍

My goals for 2022 - Get healthier and thinner - Learn to draw better - Spend more time on hobbies (piano, dance, reading, knitting/crochet, language study) - Write more (mainly fiction) I also hope to start a KZfaq channel this year, but I'm very indecisive when it comes to figuring out what I want the channel to be about, so that doesn't seem quite solid enough for a year's goal just yet. Also, I just ordered one of your dotted notebooks earlier for this year's bullet journal. Can't wait to use it!

Fireworks on black paper just pops! It pops elegance, class, and style! Love the tabs you put on this journal. They just make things easier to flip. This is one of the most beautiful spreads you have created. My favourite spread that you did years ago (or maybe that was last year) was the fairy tale theme with the frog, mushroom, pixies, and the paper cutout door where you have to open them so you can access the weekly calendar spread. Keep inspiring people so we can start/continue bullet journalling. Happy New Year!

I became curious about bullet journaling after seeing an ad on my IG feed & after researching a bit, decided to try it for the last week of this month (Feb 22). So far, I'm liking it & have already found a notebook I had on hand that I can use to try it for March. A friend recommended your videos so I watched your year setup as well as this video. Very helpful and I'm in love with the black & white theme! I have to keep telling myself - "you don't need all this stuff, use what you have for now" - but I've definitely wishlisted a bunch of them already! LOL

i’m a fan since 2017 but i stopped bullet journalling around june 2019 due to extreme burn out. watching your vids again made me remember how much fun i had before. i remember how i even influenced few of my classmates to do bujo too because i keep showing them my monthly set ups 😆 i really hope i can get my passion and energy back to do bujo again this year ❤️‍🩹

This is stunning! I always set 4 personal goals (a personal goal, a professional goal, a financial goal, and a health goal) and 4 "me-and-the-world" goals (a social justice goal, an environmental sustainability goal, a civic engagement goal, and a financial conscientiousness goal). Some of my favorites for this year are my social justice goal (to learn more about indigenous justice) and my civic engagement goal (to attend more of my city council meetings).

My goal this year is really just to not stress out too much. It's my last year of school this year so the big finals are coming in may and I wanna try and not let it stress me too much. And then after honestly just to live. I'll (hopefully with covid and everything) go travel and I just really wanna enjoy that

Hi😊 my goals are: journaling everyday (I tend to forget it😅), study more so that I can have good grades😁, talk to my father often(we live in different country), pray everyday, and to be more positive (I always have a negative thought 🥲😅).... Hehe

omg you are such an inspiration to me. 2022 is going to be my first year doing a proper bullet journal, and your videos have been so helpful!! I’ve tried to do bullet journal before, but it didn’t really go to plan, but that’s mainly because i started it in the middle of the year haha. so i’d just like to say thank you❤️❤️

One of my goals for the new year is to focus more on creativity because it always makes me happy but I find it difficult to make time for it, so it's time to prioritize it!

I have a fireplace Amanda! I’m trying to set realistic goals (so I’m not inevitably hit with a crushing wave of disappointment) so my goal is to read one book every quarter. I was thinking about one a week or one a month, but when I actually thought about that there is literally no way I was gonna do that lol! Happy New Year guys!!!

Ahh this is so nostalgic 🥲 I started my first ever bullet journal back in 2018 and copied Amanda’s original firework theme for my January setup. It’s crazy how long it’s already been since then!!
