Don’t waste your time being angry. Don’t waste your time being sad. Don’t waste your time being jealous. You’v got one life. Live it to the fullest. Don’t compare yourself to people better than you. Don’t keep questioning life. If you think you’re not good enough, no one else will. You have to be that change. BE that person people look up to. BE that smile that changes the world. If there’s something important I learnt in life, is that you should never doubt yourself. Keep doing good, and others will do good to you. 💕Hope this quote inspires someone to take a leap of faith.

I was at an event last night and this adorable 95 year old woman said she starts every day by saying 'Something wonderful is going to happen to me today!' She says that every day, and she said something wonderful HAS happened every day. She was such an optimistic, happy woman who radiated positive vibes. I found that very inspirational, and love the idea of starting every day off with such a positive outlook.

Oh, that owl! And, the darling cats. 😍😍 Wonderful spread, Christine! One of my favorites quotes is by Aristotle. "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit." This reminds me that all skills develop over time and that hurdles are not permanent setbacks. Even our failures help us to grow (often even more than our successes, tbh) and as long as we learn from them, we are better for them in the long run. On days where things don't quite go as planned and the self-doubt kicks in, I find that reminder especially comforting. 💛

In portuguese we say a quote, simple and efective that is ''o feito é melhor que o perfeito''. Means that the what has been done is best than the perfect which is so true, sometimes we keep on wondering and planing to start something but never really do. This has motiveting me to just start the thing I want to do, instead keep making excuses to not start. You are helping me so much with that, thank you!

I have a black cat, we adopted him. I heard that black cats are a lot less likely to be adopted so I just HAD to give him a loving, forever home. The idea of him being linked to faith and knowing that everything will work out in the end really speaks to me. Thanks for sharing your beautiful drawings with us.

Gosh, I wish more black kitties could be adopted into good homes, but we're not allowed to adopt them out during October without SERIOUSLY long background checks... because sometimes people adopt them for not good reasons... 😧 But hey... Anyone who adores a black cat is wonderful!
