There is just something with the take off that is just... so cool, when you line up at the runway, then hearing the engines stabilize at 40%, then just being puished back at your seat while the engines spool up and you can hear and feel the power...

Thanks for posting these videos. I have a severe terror of flying. I haven't been on a plane in 27 years because of it. My girlfriend has finally convinced me to get back on a plane. We leave a week from Saturday from Houston to Seattle. I'm really hoping these videos are helping to desensitize myself to the whole process. You really give a great perspective of actually being there.

Awesome video, where ASA parks at SFO has vary interesting pushback procedures, and it was cool haw you banked right after takeoff, never seen a video of a takeoff like that, at least if a 737.

I was surprised by it also, but I think the flight plan had the departure out of the 10s, but the runway was switched so they had to improvise to get back on that departure. Thanks! :)
