Thank you sooo sooo much. I have been looking for a good and full of details tutorial video and I have never been so happy. The way you explain everything slowly step by step, every single tool and what it does. I love that. Also your voice is not anoyying lol.

Nice video. I don't yet have planet coaster (soon I will have a PC powerful enough to run it!) But am interested in what you can do. Truly, the terrain editing is so easy and in depth.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. This is truly an awesome game and more improvements have happened even since I posted this video. Just be careful... this game is a major time consumer! I can start at 3pm and not even realize that 3 hours have based by in the blink of an eye.... It's so fun!!!
@liamjames-hendriks48957 жыл бұрын
Sim Park Observer you did a great job showcasing the function without skipping anything or focusing on anything too much. :) Oh I totally bet it is. I was a huge lover of RCT1,2,3 and also more Cities Skylines (at low fps on my non gaming laptop) and many hours would be put in to them. I also remember spending so much time on a small part (still do in Cities Skylines) not realised how much time has passed despite the small area of work actually done.

Hey, thanks so much, great tutorial. I had worked out most of the terrain tools but couldn't figure out how people were terror forming around their coasters as there was no auto tunnel in the terrain tab. This tutorial explained it perfectly with scenery lock. I was so pleased until i went and tried it and it didn't work. Any idea as to why? I've tried every thing i can think of. I'd love some help. Thanks.

Unsure. It's been a while since I've played and perhaps some of the controls have been enhanced/moved. Maybe do some searching on the forums or see if there is a tutorial on another channel? Sorry I couldn't be more help.

What doe the scenery lock do I have it on but everything still clips through the scenery

Only thing I noticed you didn’t mention (I know…this is 4 YEARS later. Lol!!)….is that the Paint Terrain textures are all different depending on which map type you selected. Deciduous, Alpine, Tropical, City, Desert, etc

Chillax yah, tried a new recording software that's included with my Radeon graphics card. Asked it to record in 1080p but for some reason it down-sampled to 720p. Looks great on mobile devices though!

Is there a way to fix the terrain? I totally screwed it up in my park and now I can’t make the land flat again.
@AssortedPlay4 жыл бұрын
You should be able to use the flatten to surface tool to level your terrain again but keep in mind that it won't work around certain rides or paths. You may need to remove those rides/paths to flatten then add them back in again. It's a pain but the only way as far as I know.

I need help please. I can not use the undo button for the water because i have gone to far. Along with the right clicking doesn't work. any suggestions or fixes?
@AssortedPlay5 жыл бұрын
I’ve never tried undo for the water but to the best of my knowledge all you need to do is left click with the water option selected. Right click doesn’t work.
@briancharette45725 жыл бұрын
Yes i tried right clicking it just moves my camera. i have only found two forums about it and there are no solutions on it.@@AssortedPlay

heey im on ps5 the game is free for ps plus users how can i have a flat island terrain
@AssortedPlay2 жыл бұрын
There is a flatten terrain tool as noted in my tutorial. Just make your island, surround it with water and then flatten the island terrain to your heart's content! Just note that this tutorial was done years ago on a PC version and some aspects of the game may have changed on the console version. (though it's mostly the same)

@@AssortedPlay the ground you place the water on
@AssortedPlay5 жыл бұрын
@@chillcentaur217 Nope! Just needs to be a hole with the edges at equal height. If they aren't, you can still place the water in the hole but likely just not at the desired height. Hope that helps!
