In this video we are outside doing an efficiency test on the brand new Planet Eclipse CS3 Paintball Gun!
If you are looking for the best of the best then look no further than the all new Planet Eclipse CS3 paintball gun lineup. The CS3 has all of the latest upgrades which make the marker the best in class.
The biggest upgrade from previous CS series guns in the Fully Double Decoupled Drive (FDD) which gives the gun a 50% increase in valve chamber volume. This lowers the working pressure of the gun all the way down to sub 100psi and reduces the sound signature of the marker. It also reduces the recoil which gives overall tighter shot groupings. Another benefit of the ADD is efficiency. The CS3 is at least 20% more efficient than similar previous models.
New barrel kit. All CS3 models come with the brand new S63 barrel system and includes .685 and .689 inserts. You can complete the kit with additional inserts to get the best paint to barrel match. Another great upgrade is a mechanical frame which removes all of the electronics and makes the CS3 tournament legal for all Mech only events.

Just why? Rory man don't be letting PE make you do silly things. This marker gets a 77ci tank and shots around 280fps. I might be wrong but weren't most of the other markers chrono at 300fps? They also had 68ci bottles. I was all on board for the CS3 until PE had to start doing sus stuff like this. Dye is looking good right now.

Congratulations you got 100 more shots after trying to fudge the numbers with a bigger tank and lower velocity. I look forward to the 4th attempt at this with an 80cu tank at 250 FPS. Should have just left up that first efficiency test where you got 7 pods from the 68/45 and called it a day.

Yeah planet eclipse had other ideas behind that thought process. They have made them take the videos down. Re upload them and all kinds of crazy stuff. I don't think ans gear would have redone the video if pe wasn't threatening some kind of legal action or something.

Next week we get a 90ci tank, hand matched 5 star paint and one balled shots. LOL. What i really want to see is if the DLS can shoot an entire case off an 80ci, that would be cool.

Y’all stop every efficiency test when the FPS starts to drop off but kept going during this test? Also tested this gun three times… how much is PE pushing this?

Never could go wrong with the dls over a cs3, I'd pick DLS over any PE gun every day all day

I’m 100% positive the marker shoots well and it’s not a pig on air BUT people are hung up on the advertising which is impacting sales. If it shoots better than a cs2 or on par it’s a great gat 👍🏻

Exactly, the marker shoots fantastic, has excellent ergonomics, and the build quality is top notch. Plus PE has some of the best support in the business. All these high guns are great. Everyone praised the cs2. PE managed to improve upon an already great design and now the gun is trash all of a sudden. Everyone is running around acting like they need to carry a case of paint...lol! Every field I have ever played at has all day air anyway.

@@MK4vDubbin In side by side tests the CS3 is more efficient than the CS2. (you have already seen this video) Is it 20% more efficient that remains to be seen on camera. People in Facebook groups are reporting better efficiency over the CS2 as well. Who is buying any of these high end guns based on the ability to shot one or two more pods off a single fill? Ergonomics, reliability, shot quality, build quality and the overall feel of the gun come way before efficiency in my book.

Waited 2 years for this gun. I’m not convinced it is even more efficient than my 160r or a CS2. It shoots like a cs2 mixed with a force and doesn’t shoot bad (I’ve shot one) but I’m gonna stay with my luxe now. Would love a DLS

Why is the CS3 getting a 77 bottle when all your other guns get a 68 bottle? Can you do a 170R with a 77 bottle? Just curious but i bet the 170R gets more shots.

It's a marker, it shoots paint, how many times are players going to have to shoot three bags of paint off one fill? Geez as a self dedicated PE fanboy we don't need to have an efficiency test to the exact T, let the marker speak for itself when it gets in the players hand. Most xball players will only run out of air probably twice in their entire playing career on the field, if that. I personally have played 8 years and not once run out on the field, even with older gen markers with smaller tanks, it's not going to hurt us with improved bolts and bigger tanks...get over it PE, it doesn't hit 20% off this one test but its better than your previous marker. As long as it feels good in the hands, let it sell as is.

All your tests should be consistent. Use the same tank for all the markers, at least.

77ci/4500 2nd video 1592. Consistently 1550 3rd video 1654 Consistent 1630 Numbers aren't terrible I've seen worse. Not everyone can be like dls or g6r.

LoL they didnt seem right. Yeah! It's a gimmick, PE is always good at exaggerating its product. It's a winter soup maker. Every PE marker in my field have this winter issue, yet luxe, dye macdev dont have this problem.
