The future of music is now and in the past... Exactly. Holdsworth . God Damn, 9:10 is unreal. This whole thing is UNREAL, the stamina Virgil has is Olympic athlete level. I had the privilege of seeing Holdsworth with Virgil at Yoshi's in Oakland. They all signed the photo I took with me.

@@hazardeur My point being its fantastic music but no vocal sharing an actual message or story. Some like their music like that & good for them. Others don't & good for them as well. Music is subjective, so its each to their own. So one argument could b is music coming from a musical instrument alone can have feeling, but is pointless.

@@kochstevens3210 if you reall believe what you're saying, you wouldn't have asked the question in the first place. i, for one, can find a lot of stor in a guitar solo, for example. Music is subjective after all. or do ou have some special rule set for yourself since you imply this music is about nothing in your first post?

@@hazardeur I'm not denigrating this music. Sure the music has meaning to the artist's that wrote or play it, & to some listeners. Others could argue without a human voice to convey words for an actual message or story, its just "sound coming from an amp" or a drum kit. Nothing wrong with either view. Its music so we can all have our own opinions preferences/likes or dislikes.
