I’m just really happy because I really wanted to play planet zoo because I love animals but I couldn’t get a PC but I already had a PS five and then when I heard this that it was on PS five and it was coming out I was really excited and I was really hyped,

Was actually surprised with the complexity meter at 55% in the video. Seems like we can build decent sized zoos at 100%. I'd rather build lots of medium sized themed zoos anyway then try to build massive ones and get lost trying to add everything in it. Lots of different themed zoos with maybe 6-8 species would be better for me and I can always go back and fourth between each project over time.. Like a North American zoo, an African zoo, an Australian zoo ect.. for me personally I'd be happy doing it that way anyway

Yeah I had the same in Planet Coaster I usually stuck to mid size builds that were a lot more manageable only really one big build in sandbox with unlimited money

Oh yeah me too, but I think most of it comes from the buildings, but yeah definitely still a lot you can build and it can be double that basically, what I am sure it would less if it was less buildings and more enclosures

There's way more people playing on PC compared to consoles. I'm primarily a PlayStation/Nintendo player, but I just play PC games that won't probably ever release on console, like Total War, etc.

@@CapybaraaaaStudiosJWE2 is an alright game, but lack of creative freedom holds it back from anywhere near Planet Zoo. I will say this. The scenarios and Management of JWE2 is better than PZ.

I am extremely excited about this game, I am not so much the creative expert and will be looking at the blueprints on offer. I am assuming these are editable when placed? I enjoy the the management aspect and am delighted to see there will be a lot of management needed! Maybe a tad scared too! My concern is the complexity meter as with planet coaster I found I often got near the fill limit just when things were going good with the park and then had to scrap my creative ideas which often made me start all over again. I am hoping and it does look like the worry is unneeded because these parks look massive on here. I am also assuming that animals use less memory than all the coasters and rides which will help? Here is hoping but none the less, really excited about planet zoo on console. FG.

I hope this runs decent on PS5. I can run Red Dead Redemption 2, and other demanding games maxed out graphics, at 60 fps 1080p, and I can't run this game on medium 30 fps stable. My CPU and GPU are worth more than an Xbox Series X and a PS5 combined. So I'm a bit skeptical when it comes to performance.

Frontier, I think every console player is disappointed that you are not able to build realistic zoos with a lot of animals since they affect complexity meter. I think everyone wishes for the animals not to affect the complexity meter in order for console players to be able to build realistic zoos (with more animals) with the feeling that they have "no" limit! Like if you agree!

It's not their fault. It's Sony and Microsoft's faults since the consoles aren't powerful enough to handle the game

Why are you blaming frontier for what consoles can handle ? Just be happy console players are even getting it. We haven't even seen a zoo with 100% complexity meter so we should judge until we see what a zoo at 100% looks like

@@SliceOfLife93In the past we used to get massive content expansions. The animal and content packs for planet zoo and planet coaster are a scam in comparison.

@choroyexplota 1. Inflation (look it up) 2. Work output by the team is far higher than it was on a game like Zoo Tycoon 2 that use to put out bigger expansions. It takes sometimes months to create just a single Animal. It's a completely different scenario and has no room for comparisons. 3. $10 for a DLC is actually extremely cheap in today's day and age. Would you rather being paying $30-40 for a cod bundle with 10x less content than what other games provide? The fact of the matter is if companies don't make money, then they can't pay employees and they can't keep putting out content. Frontier has had enough troubles as it is. Planet Zoo is one of the few games where their business model is actually pretty solid.
