The Jogger marks the arrival of hybrid engines at Dacia and offers combined power of 140 hp, as well as the best levels of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in the Jogger range, from 108g/km. With a four-cylinder 1.6 l petrol engine providing 90 hp, two electric engines (a 50 hp engine and a high-voltage starter generator), and an automatic electric gearbox with four gears coupled to the combustion engine and two gears coupled to the electric motor.

I had the Hybrid extreme a month now. Great car, a bit rough around the edges, but it is an enjoyable car to drive and very practical

Joe, What mpg are you getting from the car? If you're idling in neutral with the A/C on, does the engine run all the time, or does it cut in/cut out as it's charging the hybrid battery. I know the toyota corolla has it's A/C run off the high voltage battery so that the engine will only run for say 30 seconds every 5 minutes while it charges up the hybrid battery.

I am getting around 62 MPG. I don't use aircon much but it does keep the engine running more, but not as much as a Honda Jazz Crosstat that i owned before. The AC stays on, even when ice engine has cut out For a big car, its got some poke and i am happy with it, I was getting better MPG out of the Crosstar, but its a lot smaller car . Plus the jazz was high rev , where i say the jogger a bit more settled, even though the engine is not as refined .

Hi I test drove one of these today and are confused. The dealer didn’t explain clearly when asked how do you know when car is being powered by electric. He gave me an answer that I find hard to believe. You only get a mile or so on battery before the petrol kicks in?
