Love this Plank show every time. I have to really pay attention to translate their language as they sometimes run words together using colloquialisms. Quite fun, glad for replay.

While that ship was making its way through the Suez Canal, it was under the control of a pilot. Unless the captain countermanded the pilot's orders (which a helmsman would ignore, because he knows the pilot knows the water better than the captain), he did not crash the ship. But as the captain of the ship he is traditionally held responsible. Perhaps that's why his name was being withheld, giving the guy a bit of a break. So, really guys, give that poor man a break.

This is not the first time a teacher has been hung out to dry because of Islam. Sometime in the early 70s a headmaster at an English school insisted that Muslim girls Don PE kit and do PE. He was threatened and the government of the day refused to back him. I believe he suffered a nervous breakdown and had to leave teaching. We are now allowing religious attire to be worn in the armed forces. What does uniform mean?

strong wind is a big problem for ships navigating tight areas... and youd be suprised how much they can blow ofcourse... i mean hell look at the size of the little tug boats that towed in HMS Queen Elizabeth in Portmouth the other week youd never think it could pull it

Dawn mentions at 24:23 about her mum going through the Suez Canal and how narrow it was. I think she means the Panama Canal, which is narrow. The Suez is several hundred feet wide.

I may be mistaken but I am pretty sure that when a vast ship goes through the Suez canal, the captain relinquishes control to a canal pilot who takes rsponsibility of safe passage. Therefore you are in danger of slandering an innocent man!
