@@danielw5850 seeing the whole thing from when landlord confronted Starmer to the part where Starmer leaves with his entourage gives full and clearer perspective. is he so tone deaf he couldn't understand he was not welcome? having dismissed the landlord completely and so disrespectfully he then proceed to walk into his property... what?? the goon needs to be interviewed by police. though he might well be police himself, he certainly looked goonish enough to be one

I think his point - if anyone had let him get a word in - is that most sports don't have a league system with promotions and demotions. It's only a feature of football because of the large number of teams involved. It's not really relevant to the idea of a super league per se, but it's a reasonable defence against the argument that a super league is a bad thing because you can't get demoted.

Haven’t bought Ben and Jerry’s for ages far too sweet....prefer to buy a nice local small scale producers ice cream tubs in our local nursery...lot nicer full of fruit and vanilla etc. They source their milk and cream from local dairy farms beautiful when I put a scoop into a cornet

Plank of the week this week should be “plank of the week”! They start off saying how many planks there are to choose from then proceed to argue amongst themselves on just one topic. That’s when I switched off. It was better when there were different guests on the panel each week and we got more variety of opinions.

Regarding golf, a player can get relegated Mike - if his results are poor, he will lose his tour card and have to go to the Q-School to requalify. Failing that, he would have to player in a lower level tour. That's the same principle.

you actually do get a form of 'relegation' in golf Mike, you either miss the cut in a tournament as well as the golf rankings. If you aren't high enough you have to qualify (and not guaranteed to make that either)

What got me was that following FIFA, UEFA and the UK Government all promising to go nuclear on the _Super League_ , all the teams pulled out and said they were _listening to the fans_ . RIGHT ... and for some odd reason the press agreed with them ...
