As we leave 2020, I want to personally thank the *BBC, ITV, CH4 and Sky* for making what would have been a difficult year into a totally depressing, life sucking, soul destroying alcoholism inducing utter crap experience for anyone daring to turn their TVs on during a news cast. Made worse by non-stop begging charity adds showing untold misery and animal cruelty.

The BBC criminals won't be causing pensioners to be sent to prison. The courts will be making an order through the department of work and pensions to extract the licence fee from the pensions of the those refusing to pay. Its worth pointing out that if you are in receipt of a pension credit you are exempt anyway.

We changed to listening to Talk Radio eight months ago when got bored of LBC's Nick Ferrari followed by that obnoxious James O'Brian and followed by Shelagh Fogarty. Julia Hartley-Brewer followed by Mike Graham has been so refreshing as they both talk common sense and questioning. Off subject: Doesn't Shelagh Forgarty look like a female version of Donald Trump?

As one of your regular "Welsh" viewers, it is incumbent upon me to offer a loud round of applause for the "Wales is a weird country" comment and all that was said about our "beloved" Mr Drakeford... I wrote a book about Wales almost ten years ago called BLACKOUT - it did not sell well but I firmly believe that our first minister should now be forced to read it... Happy New Year and thank you, Mike Graham, for providing some of the more insightful and intelligent debates of this year...

UNESCO bioethics and human rights article 6. Coercion and discrimination to have a va££ine is against international law. “Any preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic medical intervention is only to be carried out with the prior, free and informed consent of the person concerned, based on adequate information. The consent should, where appropriate, be express and may be withdrawn by the person concerned at any time and for any reason without disadvantage or prejudice.” Ever heard of the Nuremberg trials? It was deemed after that no medical treatment, prevention or procedure could be carried out on any human being without their informed consent.

I think Plank of the week should be the EU statements on UK's withdrawal from the EU Erasmus scheme for UK students. We contributed 1 Billion a year to the EU for getting support for 15000 max numbers for students learning in the EU. We pay 5 billion over 5 years of study. We get back 1 billion. The rest is pocketed by the EU. Under our own new scheme we will be able to sponsor 35,000 students and it will cost us only 250 million in comparison .

Boris has made no end of mistakes, but think of what the alternative would have been: Corbyn in No 10 (probably together with Hamas and Len McCluskey), together with his little band of merry "persons"; McDonnell in No 11; Abbot in the Home Office, and Thornbury in the FCO (as was). That gang of 4 and Covid; a match made in heaven. Sputnick vaccine mandatory.

@@davidclarke73 The website wasn't working when I tried. So I phoned up. Spoke to a lovely understanding member of staff who simply asked why I felt I no longer needed a licence. I explained I hadn't watched live TV or the BBC since the summer. She sent me a refund form and I had a cheque by return of post. And a letter confirming I no longer needed a licence. Took 5 minutes.
