Hallo, Joe. Long time no See. Fan from the Start. You have helped me overcome my Shyness. Because of you, I was Travelling for 5 Years Around the World, making my Money with Big Murals, for Hotels and such (cheap ones) 9 years Ago. That is one Major Point People do not understand. Painting on a Canvas, with High end Colors, Perfect Temp/ Moisture etc is WAY WAY different from a Mural on 10m²+, in the Sun of a Street... You need to have everything Pre Planed and the Main Colors Ready in Big Pots. And still work really Fast. Sad your Channel went down so much from the High Days. To make Photoreal Stuff on a Huge scale, is a Big Problem and People Costomers asked me, "Why do i not start from one side and keep going". I Prefered the Thin Layer up on Layer Method. But that takes time and People have no Patience, even if they Pay Little to nothing. I gave up on It, because Most want Cheap Printed shit in 24 hours than Real Art.

Super painting and explanation. If you ever run out of ideas for a video, I would enjoy a short one where you explain relative value, saturation and color across a finished painting. “Here is what the painting does and what that makes your brain see.” For example, I see more saturated/pure blue in the foreground vs. the background. That gives the effect of atmospheric interference and pushes the mountains back or the water forward. I see the same with dark values up close vs. light in the back, which again pushes things up or back. You seem to use yellow in the clouds vs. purple in the mountains making things seem translucent or solid. You always touch on these things while you paint, but it would be nice to have an overview on a finished painting.

very interesting themes, but maybe isnt my understanding of enlgish very good because i not fully grasp the rule of thumb...how paint light, shadows and middle tones? and why? this would be a good cloud to paint for everyone. anyway you know what you're doing and it'sdone very well. bravo

Hi Joe! I saw that you're using Superpeer to host your events etc. I would like to self-host my online course and I was wondering if you are happy with their offering? I'm not sure about the 10% margin that they take. I'd be very happy to hear your thoughts and to hear whether you're happy with their platform! Thank you :) Wera

8:22 your trying to explain about highlighting the cloud- or perhaps you should of said give it depth- then while your talking about highlighting - the picture shows you painting in hues to establish underpainting for water reflections - the editing is really careless!!! Joe- you were really popular back in the day- as the years passed- around your smaller canvas paintings- something changed- and your communication to explain became more and more difficult- It’s hard to even explain that!!! Lol Your voiceover doesn’t coincide with what your actually painting!! I don’t know Joe-
