Aren’t they? I could spend an hour crushing garlic and it is never a purée like he makes.

I've been vegan for 2 years and still scour JP for his veg recipes. What a treat to have a meatless menu!

I love these meatless menus. The older I get the less interested I am in eating red meat. I think this also makes a simple yet wonderful summer meal.

Meat was for the rich and the herding nomads, NOT for average people and farmers. Nearly everything was vegetarian or vegan. It is a new thing to add meat to everything. Look at the italian or middle eastern, indian, chinese.... and realize how fantastic their non-meat menu is. No, NO TOFU!

Listen to Jacques grandma! There's all sorts of great health benefits from drinking tea as medicine. I have a fantastic anti-inflammatory/deep sleep blend. It has hemp, moringa, thai basil, goji berries and turmeric in it. It's fantastic.

@@patrickevans3797 if we break it down to bare chemicals all foods in existence contain the same chemicals as plants and animals. Most meats have iron and magnesium and so does spinach. So if you really think about it they are all the same at their base chemicals it's just a matter of perspective.

You seem not to understand the term. "Plant-based" does not mean vegan. The menu is absolutely plant-based.
