Time to plant Iris in Fall. Many are getting their new bearded Iris rhizomes delivered and may need a helpful hint on how to plant them in the garden.
This is much simpler than many realize. Iris' are much tougher than you think. Let me show you as I plant my new Iris rhizomes in my Entrance Garden.
Iris requires only a few things, full sun, well-draining soil, and some room.
I know many people may differ on how the plant exactly but after growing bearded Iris for 30+ years this is how I have planted them for the best success, tons of blooms in Spring, and lots of new rhizomes created each year.
