Donna Monroe - thank you so much for the advice. I do plant quite a bit now. I don’t have a large property, but everything is planted well, just not as beautiful as Laura’s. I have a chicken coop and a Koi pond that I absolutely enjoy. I really love creating beautiful things, just don’t have the room to expand my gardens. Hence, why I said that if I won the lottery, I would buy a property like Laura’s. 🥰. I am 59 years old, but my goal when I retire is to create beautiful flower gardens. Most people want to travel. I just want to plant! God Bless you as well and best of luck with your container gardening. Containers are just as striking as ground planting.

I love those aerial shots those are so much fun, everything is going to look so beautiful once it starts to grow. Things are really taking shape and looking so beautiful, I love seeing how everything progress, thank you on the tip for planting annuals around the tulips, I always wondered what to do once my tulips were done blooming. Thank you again for a wonderful video full of inspiration and beauty, and always so much fun seeing Russell, he is so big and the end of his tail is very unique. See you soon, bye for now.

Do you ever just get to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fruits of your labor? I only have a dozen pots of summertime plants out on my deck, and I sit and enjoy looking at them daily. I hope you get those opportunities as well. You've got the loveliest home and surroundings I've ever seen. You are blessed.

That looks much better having just the one color in all 4 sections. The first area you planted will be pretty with the lavender and yellow combination. The boxwoods are looking great. Glad to see Russel out enjoying the weather with you.

Hi Laura and Aaron! Another great and helpful video! Aaron the aerial shots were awesome! You do such a great job filming and editing. I didn't realize you could trim supertunias and they would still grow. Great information Laura! So many times I get so upset with them getting leggy and now I know what to do to keep them pretty. I love the way both gardens turned out. The flowers are all beautiful. I think I'm favoring the Limoncello and dark night. Thank you so much for sharing!

Looking forward to all the summer blooms..I stick what's trimmed and cut off into dirt.... each cutting is a new plant.. easy to do..saves money 😊

Take those leggy pieces off. Pull some of the bottom leafs off and dip them in a rooting hormone. You can grow more plants from those pieces you would have thrown away.

I had no idea you could do that to an annual. How big will they get by the end of the season (before the frost kills them)?

@@babymoon5282 Yeah, which is why all the information about propagating from annuals is so shut down. They're an annual, so even if you propagate anything from it, it's going to DIE come the fist hard frost, no?

I love to propagate my plants and as they send growth above and beyond the rest of the plant, I clip the shoots placing them in root hormone. Tucking the propagated shoots in a pot with a nice medium and fertilizer usually has very good results. I love the result of your efforts planting and trimming. Thank you for sharing.

I really liked all the planting shots! Loved the aerials and the progress planting shots. Sometimes the videos have a ton of great plant information, and then the actual planting (which is my favorite part) gets sped up and ends up being a small blip in the video. So I loved the time devoted to the planting in this one. (No negativity intended Aaron! You’re an editing god!). Thanks guys! Loving your combos this year!

Folks the cutting she just made with her trimming can also be rooted for more flowers if done early enough. In my area we still have several weeks before we put out our annuals. We may still get some frost. 🥴 thanks Laura for all you do. Love watching your abundant energy for all things green and living.

Love the overhead shots. It's great getting a different angle to help visualize how to best space out the plants. I wait to see what colors and combos Laura picks each year for Versailles. I hope one day to see a mass planting of Supertunia Honey around the gumdrops because that petunia seems to be one with such a wide mix of shades. I'm trying to find that specific variety in garden centers near me but no one carries it. But the Supertunia Vista Paradise is going to be gorgeous there. I can't wait to see how massive it gets!
