I didn't know that Coleus would grow in the sun if you keep it watered well! I do have some coleus in one pot which gets morning sun, but good afternoon shade...it's thriving but I am also keeping it water since we haven't had rain for so long. I am in Central IL also...Canton, just North, and west of you. I was watching your shade garden video and wondered what tree is next to your lamb's ear? I Love that!!!! Glad I found you! Can't wait to see more.

Bought some Coleus for the first time to plant in my garden. Living in Edinburgh Scotland we have cold winters which l understand Coleus do not like the cold, any suggestions with out having to dig them up. Thank you for making your video, lve started to love these plants because of the leaves.

KZfaq channel “self sufficient me” said to use tomato fertilizer for lemon trees. I did it on a small 2yr tree and it grew fast and wide! I ended up losing it in 🥶 winter freezes. I tried to keep it alive outside in a pop up greenhouse 😨 should have moved it indoors.
