I Jes, I think that Spike is a calico which for a male cat that is very very unusual. Your new expanded Windy morning before work you almost called the wind up on que. It was a smiling moment for me. You and your sister are great entertainers so layed back.

If I had a choice if a perennial (besides Brunnera) to grow in an abundance it would be Heuchera. There's a great variety of color and the flowers are so dainty and sweet. And I guessed deer. (it was more like "wishful thinking" lol) A rain shower after planting is sort of a blessing in disguise for the newly planted things. Helps set them.

Max looked so cozy. It made me want to take a nap. If you begin to have problems with the deer, spray your plants with Liquid Fence. It works for deer and rabbits. Love watching how you are developing the new flower bed.

Hi Jes! Just a little note! The plant tone works better in the hole when your planting! The Biotone in the formula works to benefit the root growth! Just a suggestion! I use it all the time! Oh! Thanks for answering my watering question so quickly!!

Once you have a bad experience with poison Ivy, you never forget! I’ve had a few and I’m finally learning. One thing I never knew is they also grow in vine form climbing up trees and fences! That was a hard lesson learned the hard way! I’m glad you are being cautious!🌸

Oh my, I hope those deer don't eat your hosta, Jes. They eat it like crazy in our area. The thought of them doing that to your beautiful gardens makes me ill. I hope they leave your area! We have a lot of deer around us and had to fence in our veg garden last yr. They ate everything 😢 It's a sickening feeling when we worked so hard.

Do you find that you have to dig up your heuchera and replant them? I have zero experience with them. I love yours so much with the hostas ☺️..Had to have them. I looked them up and someone said that they push themselves up out of the ground every few years and that you have to replant to keep them alive. Was curious if this is everyones experience with them?

@@deannahaworth7666 How often do you have to do it and do you split them then? Thank You in advance. 😊
@deannahaworth766610 ай бұрын
@@Sandra-zz9jx I find it is different with different varieties but around the 3 or 4 year mark I start to see a woody stem in the middle of the plant and I remove that and replant that somewhere else . The original native variety ( hairy alumroot) I don't have this happen as often with them . Americana variety is also one that doesn't seem to heave up ( I've grown it at my local botanical gardens 6 years ) . I live in planting zone 6b southern Missouri so that might also be a factor.
