Good job transplanting your things. A small suggestion- cut the bloom stalks off of the brunnera. It’s done blooming & that way it can send more energy to its roots and leaf development. My burgundy glow ajuga took off this year, one plant is like 2 foot x 2 foot. It’s crazy because last year they were just tiny ones just like the ones you planted. I cracked up at your shopping story! lol, sounds just like me! I have a stack of shade plants that I still need to get in the ground! I just try to do a little bit everyday. It’s gonna be rough for a week or so with the high temps we are supposed to get here in Mi. I hate to plant in that kind of heat but at least it’s shade plants! That will help it at least stay alive I think! lol 🫠🥵 😂 🌞 🌱 Thank you for sharing your space Whitney! Always look forward to the Sunday video! 😊♥️

Thanks for the tip on the brunnera! ☺️ I know the ajuga will spread eventually the one I planted in the New Garden space already looks really good and has doubled in size. I Just wanted to give the outline of that Flower Bed a head start with a good bit of ajuga. That Walmart was marking off plants like crazy. Went back with my mom and got a lot more stuff. The worker said to pick a few things and he would mark them off for us😆 so got a few goodies. Temps are going to get in the 100s around here but still planting!☺️ thanks for watching💕

Love the Japanese grass. Whitney, Lowes had a 6 pack Ajuga for under $7 which is way cheaper than Walmart 6 x 3 = $18

I'll have to check lowes. I tend to head right towards the clearance cart and then browse the rest. I must have missed the ajuga... thanks for the heads up💕

Looks great. Do you ever do annuals or do you just stick to perennials?

I plant some annuals, but while trying to expand the garden further I tend to stick with a lot of perennial plants
