Man I fell through a rabbit hole of nostalgia, but it also reminded me that I used to have a pretty bad depression when I was younger. I used to listen to Plastic Tree at school non-stop while feeling lonely. At least the music was great.

Me too, the same thing. I was in love with their music ages 12 to 15 but those were also the worst years in my life. These guys made it all a little bit better

I don't know why, but Ryutaro's voice is so calm and peaceful, just as his appearance. Very pleasant to listen to.

I met Pura when I was 14 yo, it was love to the first listen lol. Now I'm 29, and they still be my favorite band.

im only 14 right now so I guess I’m going through this phase LOL, I love seeing people talk about how nostalgic plastic tree was for them. I hope plastic tree continues to grow and have more younger listeners ❤

@ficsci: no joke! :D they were asked once in an interview what they'd do in summer, when everyone is at the beach and so on. Ryutaro said they'd go to the beach at night, making fireworks and stuff. :D

I think the paleness is because the lighting is right on his face (it's called glamor lighting :) but yes, Pura doesn't go under the sun too much (they'd rather lurk in the darkness, just kidding)
