Love this video. Been reading different websites and I've got a better knowledge of what all of the locus letters mean, but these videos go one step further and give almost every possibility. We've got a blue and tan female and have just bought a platinum male. Need to get the male dog tested. Wasnt sure if I was going to do it but defo going to do it after watching this.

On the champagne color. bb ee. Does the cream wash out the chocolate and u see cream or u can visually see a new shade. Also applies to coco ee. Is the dog look cream with copies of coco or is visually a new shade.

Hi James, I am about mate my Frenchie. this well be the third attempt. We have failed twice previously. This time I have taken dogs to vets for health check, run a course of antibiotics and changing stud. We always run bloods at successful clinic and changing for another respected clinic. The only other anomaly is we always have another female frenchie in the household which is more dominate, may this be the problem, The dominate one also does not fall pregnant. Could you please offer some advise.

You said if you remove the cream, it's lilac... But is there such a thing as a PLATINUM lilac? My friend recently had a litter of puppies, all 4 appear cream-colored, she said 2 are blue cream, 2 are lilac cream (lilac platinum?)

Depends on the dams dna and your dogs dna as well, but will definitely carry one copy of blue, one of cream and one Co/co if the sire is truely a platinum dog no doubt! Can produce a platinum or lilac if paired with the right sire.
