As funny as this is, Greymane's ineptitude and denial attitude is so similar to most political leaders it's mostly depressing.

Arugal, Pyrewood Village, Silverpine, Curse of Thule... All of it. Oddly enough, this is one of the comfiest areas of WoW lore for me.

Everyone in Warcraft is pretty incompetent espescially the later into WoW lore you go, but Genn has been several different (Downright opposite) KINDS of incompetent, and that is impressive.

The fact that he cares more about Anduin than his own daughter really speaks for himself...

Coming from someone who plays Horde, the worgen intro questline is probably the best one.

Gilneas is til this day one of the best zones ingame and we wasted it so bad

iirc during the Worgen starting zone, Genn claims that the Alliance abandoned Gilneas, the audacity of this furry

Not only did Genn let in infected guards, if I recall correctly Worgen dug under the wall as well.

Tldr genn left the alliance and then his people got ravaged by furries

I like how that one worgan was just attacking a chicken, such bloodrage.

Makes you wonder if some of the people left in pyrewood village that died due to not being able to enter Gilneas are the same people that as Forsaken took part in besieging it later. they had ample reasons to do so if it is the case.

the really sad thing about Gilneas and Greymane is how extremely close they are to how people in real world thinks and reacts, minus the werewolves.

I really do love the Worgen starting zone. The atmosphere, music, story, everything is just perfect and really creates an unique experience in terms of starting zones. It really is my most favorite intro questline.

I like worgen. Sadly they don't receive much of spot light in wow outside the intro quest line as if blizzard forgot they exist after intro.

No-one can hide their inner furry for that long.

I love Gilneas. The worgen, Arugal, the land. It's all interesting and an awesome part of lore.

The production with how you introduce and name characters and cinematically slow down their animations for dramatic effect is actually so top notch and well done, you have such a talent with these lore videos it's genuinely inspiring and mesmerizing to watch!

My favorite part was the animation of Genn using first aid and calling it good

The shear quality of this is astonishing!

Why is nobody talking about how the real reason genn left the alliance it's because he wanted to kill all the orcs rather than having them in interment camps

the gilneas storyline would make a really good movie

Genn's incompetence is his defining characteristic. Even when he does something right, like stopping Sylvanas from enslaving Eyir, its for the wrong reasons. I'm willing to bet if there is a time skip following Shadowlands that he'll have pulled something in the Alliance that will lead it into a conflict it can't really stand at that point. I'm thinking either another war against the Horde, which will likely drive the Alliance into a Civil War to prevent it, or just a straight up Civil War.

I really hope you cover Aedelas Blackmoore in this series of human lore.

I dunno if it's so much that Genn is incompetent as much as it is that he's unlucky and bad at choosing friends. He's someone who believed that isolation was preferable when compared to the chaos of the outside world. And considering the outside world had stuff like Orcs, zombies, and lord knows what else, it's understandable that he'd want to isolate himself from a world that seemed so chaotic and terrifying. Of course, that isolation costed him the life of his son when his people were overwhelmed by Sylvanas and her Forsaken, as well as cursing all Gilneans to become Worgen, but I think Genn has learned to not only accept help from other nations, but even offer aid to those who need it. He and his forces were the only ones who offered aid in the Battle for Darkshore, while the rest of the Alliance were too focused on the Kul Tiran/Zandalar warfronts. I feel like that would've been a great moment for Genn to realize the error of his ways if the game put more focus on that.

This might just be your best video yet! You are such a phenomenal story teller, you really know how to keep an audience captivated. Can't wait for part 2!!

This is why Genn (and in relation the Kingdom of Gilneas) is a good character, he has plenty of flaws and isn't perfect like Anduin and Thrall or outright evil like Sylvanas.
