The only way this is a thing is if one or more of the two are not heterosexual (spoiler alert too late!). You cannot be platonically friendly with someone's wife and it work. It will not and the only reason you would do it is if you were hoping for more. At no point in time could I say to my Italian wife - "Hey! I am just going to hang out a lot with this other woman!" Zero chance that works. This might as well be Lord of the Rings for its believability. :)

Yep. Men and women can't be friends. And no woman would want to be friends with creepy Seth Rogen anyway.
