Looks good but at the moment after 3 lessons, I am limited by how long I can hold my bow....... I need to work up to a cushion!

Louise is a lovely chicken, I have 20... or so chickens😏. When I saw you about to sit on her egg, not gonna lie, I cringed😖. I think I'm gonna try the Tush Cush, it's made locally and has a cool name. I'm tired of my glutes going numb during practice. Thanks Jonathan, and I love the D'Artagnon look!😄

It breathes the best, for best for sitting for long periods of time. I have an XL EggSitter, using it now!

Hello again teacher, i wanted your opinion about that posture in my case, as you already know as we spoke, i am tall 204cm and as a beginner after 3 Months playing Cello 2:30 - 3:30 hrs every day, i still feel the pain in my back, i am paying closely attention on how people are sitting while playing, here also i see your legs are a bit lowered down,in my case cause i am sitting on same chair from begging my legs are like 90 degrees, i think that is a problem or???? Should i pop up the chair a little bit higher so i can lower the legs a bit?? If you have time please visit my channel the last video i uploaded you can have a better look how I am sitting , video with your Serenade tutorial, thanks.

Yes, Mirko, you should sit in a way where your legs are angled down. Also, presuming you deadlift, think of the expansion we make when at full upright lift. Maybe the discomfort is more about the pelvis or coccyx, and less the lower vertebrae? When we play, we are in that fully, expanded stance, but not too much. Try to release the cello to be held by your legs, it also may help.

thanks for an answer,i will get higher chair and put Cello more horizontal,i just improvised now to put some cushes on this chair i use, and i sit on very end ,i feel it is better ,going now to practice and see how it goes,but yet again comes a new problem ,now i dont know how much to put end pin out,cause usually i was measuring C string Peg need to hit me behind my ear ,now i need to try different combos

Ok, that is for you to find out. In the future, consider a Montagnana copy. They are bigger cellos!
