for Atari up-to SNES/Sega Genesis i suggest RetroArch it can handle all of the older console with ease and the configuration is one for all, you set your joystick and hotkey then you can use it for all emulator throughout RetroArch. From Nintendo DS, N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, PlayStation 1 and up it will perform better with standalone emulator. My old android phone is now dedicated to Retro Gaming up-to PSP combined with BSP D3 and Daijisho front-end, it's been an amazing handheld to play on the road or anywhere else.

Some like Retroarch but I despise it for ease of use, the .EMU emulators are so easy to set up they take seconds to configure.

@@DNAMobileGaming yes, maybe for some RetroArch can be frightening at first. Agreed, most standalone emulators is easy to setup and some doesn't even need setup just play, that downside of using standalone emulators you have to setup every single one, from the system configuration, key mapping and hotkeys, it can be a tedious job because i've done it before finding out about retroarch. It is just my opinion and what works best for me.

I love that you changed your mind towards this one. Btw, I'm sad that yours not only cost you 30$ (i paid 10), but also came with this annoyance. So far I love mine, cuz the one i bought for my PC and not wireless for the same price new (paid 7$ used) had some issues with mapping in PCSX2, but this one just needed small remaping on action buttons and good to go. I think, that for the price of 10$ there is no better option.

I don’t like the controller, for retro games I don’t play with joy sticks. I’ve always used the dpad. But the d pad looks pretty bad.

Lol this controller isn't the most amazing it's super cheap elsewhere unfortunately in Canada way over priced. It'd be cool to have a DPAD and buttons only style controller like this perhaps.

The emulators are on the Google Play Store, you need to have copies of your own games to play on whatever device you want.
