This video will take you to Playa Del Carmen Beach in Mexico and provide information and an update on the seaweed situation. This video was shot at 3 pm and goes from Playa 88 to Playa Punta Esmeralda. There is some seaweed but it has been put in piles and no one is cleaning it up. The longer it sits there on the beach in piles the more toxic it gets and becomes increasingly more stinky.
Playa del Carmen is a coastal resort town in Mexico, along the Yucatán Peninsula's Riviera Maya strip of Caribbean shoreline. In the state of Quintana Roo, it’s known for its palm-lined beaches and coral reefs.

Just got back from staying at Mareazul on Monday and the seaweed situation was fine. 1 day last week there was "some" but nothing that kept us out of the water. Basically, the first 5 steps you'll encounter some but after that, its fine. Mareazul is a hidden gem

@@milehighcreeditor8361 Very little is on the actual beach, and whatever small amount that does wash up overnight appears to be cleaned by the staff before the beach even has any tourists. To me, its a non-issue. The pool is huge and gourgeous(and empty) so thats an option also. Go to the Punto Azul restaraunt on-site----excellent! Enjoy
