Playa del Carmen is a coastal resort town in Mexico, along the Yucatán Peninsula's Riviera Maya strip of Caribbean shoreline. In the state of Quintana Roo, it’s known for its palm-lined beaches and coral reefs. Its Quinta Avenida pedestrian thoroughfare runs parallel to the beach, with blocks of shops, restaurants and nightspots ranging from laid-back bars to dance clubs.

Another Vancouverite looking to make this place my home in the very near future! I just had a good friend move her family from here a week ago and so far she's loving it! Hopefully I can find a nice one bedroom a little in from the beach for around 500 bucks?

Playa del Carmen is a nice place to live. You can find studios & maybe a few 1 bedrooms in that range. You'll make this placey you home in no time🇲🇽😊

Day of the dead will most likely be celebrated more than last year because the restrictions were tighter. We'll have to wait and find out.

For the most part the weather is the same "amazing". Right now its rainy\hurricane season but hasn’t rained much. It will drop a couple of degrees in the upcoming months and gain a couple in spring & summer.

Glad you enjoyed the video 😊 Cost of living depends on the person. Depending on your needs you can get away with living under $1,000 USD. We'd say 1500-2000 would be a comfortable living for the most part. The city's population is 304,942 as of (2020) PDC is much bigger than what you've might of seen on our videos. is it expensive there or how mutch can i rent a funitured a 2 room apartment for ? is it safe when it comes to people and food ? is it easy to find ecological food like vegetables and fruits and nuts ? Thank You

Playa del Carmen is relatively expensive compared to most of Mexico. You can find 2 bedroom apartments from 650$ - 2,000 depending on the location, season and how far from the beach you are. The grocery stores are great. you can find everything you would find where you live. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

@@Johndoe-qn9jr Plenty of beaches in Mexico. Your question is very broad. What is your monthly price range for spending? What is safe? bad things happen all across the world in every country. Weather in most Mexican beach cities are about the same. If the city is westernized then it will be more expensive. Are you shopping at grocery stores & eating local food or do you want to go eat out at restaurants?

@@LetsTakeAWalk Safe like it is very low risk i will be victim of a serious crime in daytime if i walk at normal streets ? i want a decent living for a low cost 500 dollar a mounth is this possible for the rent ? I liketo fix my food for myself go shop at markets or grocerys am picky i lie it to be free from chemicals that is to say i like ti bio/ ecological grown fruits nuts and vegetables. no alcohol no meat or things like this.

@@Johndoe-qn9jr Most places during the day will be safe in Mexico as long as you're not doing anything you should be and are using common sense. 500$ for rent is definitely possible in many cities. Studios & one bedrooms for sure but its a stretch for a two bedroom unless you're living further from the city center. Plenty of fruit & veggie markets all around most cities. How they are grown is unknown to us. Hope this helps
