If you go back to older videos, you'll find that they each give each other a chance to talk, even if they're just having their own private conversations and not paying attention to the main event. Either that or the editors muted the voices of those not involved. Either way, in more recent videos, they all will frequently talk at once, each wanting to get their reaction or comment in. A lot of folks attribute that quality to just Ky, but they're all at fault, even Jack and Micheal despite being the "old guard".

I want to say something important to Achievement Hunter. But I do not know exactly how many viewers will agree. I love AH but honestly I haven't been loving the return of minecraft minigames. Not a single one. I used to love them especially stuff like wipe out, mark nutt training and clouds. Compared to those, these dont seem unique or new. Making up 1 minutes stories by a campfire, shooting minecarts 5 blocks infront of you with a bow and eating pumpkin pies in minecraft, isn't something that creative, or content worthy. I do understand that these take time to build and they only get used once for a video then barely used again. But I thought there was going to be more twilight exploration, new creative games or real competitions with other islands. Im just saying I appreciate Lindsay and the rest of AH but this feels like low effort content compared to old minecraft content. The non-minecraft lets play videos have been ok, and the other Achievement Hunter channel has been better than ever. My suggestion is making bigger games and challenges in minecraft, that you can play multiple times. Like how you always play TTT, and GTA game modes all the time. Like fall guys type minigames, or something like Wipe out but someone is a hunter trying to chase and kill you as you go through. A game like this can have many outcomes when changing who is hunter and hunted, or there could even be multiple people running at the same time, and you can change and add parts of the maps every now and again. If it seems hard, or you dont know what to do for a weekly video, there's always maps that others have published to play games in. And make sure if you remake something like Lets Play Storm the tower, that its atleast the same amount of effort as the original, if not more. I feel like you owe your own channel that much, and possibly us too.

Can we go back to when Minecraft wasn't just "follow Lindsay and Ky and on a tour of what they built while nobody was watching"

This channel & RoosterTeeth as a whole has been helping me for the last 9 years in my battle with depression, and a few days ago my grandmother who raised me and taught me everything i knew passed away. One of the first things i did when i was alone was throw on a new AH video, smiling and laughing through the tears and feeling everything around me slip away. I doubt anyone will ever really see this but i just wanted to put it out there and say thank you to the wonderful staff of Achievement Hunter, of RoosterTeeth, for all the years of light when i was ever in the dark. I can truly say that you saved me, and i’m forever grateful for the laughs you will always provide me. Love you all lots!

This minecraft content as of late is just sad. I want to see them build again and create. Those videos have gotten way more viewers and positive reviews than these. When they create and just talk normally (not in any weird accents or voices), it is so enjoyable and creates natural comedy. All of the "games" recently feel like they are built for show and to look good, but not to perform well. I feel like they care more about how their area looks than the function of it. In other episodes they do not care what it looks like as long as it accomplishes what they want to do well. I feel like this new type of content is just blah.

I like the letsplays that aren't one person at a time. When they all compete at once I feel like the dialog is more compelling

if this is 496 why does the minecraft playlist only have 490?

So there's the impossible to miss dunk tank, the super easy "duck shoot" with minecarts, the "fuck you if you play the game properly and keep your hunger up" pie eating that requires video to judge and finally the complete RNGfest of "pick a random chest for points". The shooting ones needed to be shot almost 10 times as far to be an actual challenge. The pie eating was a terrible idea and needs a complete overhaul - maybe make a different way to "consume" the pies (throwing it into a "mouth" for example, basically basketball). Bobbing for apples could have been less RNG with a bit of redstone - have dispensers randomly throw out apples and the player swims for them. A bigger pool would be better and ideally the apples need some way of being destroyed if the player is too slow to get them - skilled players will be able to hunt down more apples.
