Playable IB-07: SOL 644 Mod Preview - Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

A short interim project by KRDCD while tinkering with Armored Core VI models instead of the MMD models depicting older ACs. This playable version of Ayre's IB-07: SOL 644 is shrunk to fit the player AC's size.

This mod replaces the ALBA set and the 44-142 KRSV Multi Energy Rifle by default, though for this preview I customized the IDs to make it function with the IB-C03W1: WLT 011 Coral Rifle and a custom assortment of parts that can carry the Coral Rifle on both hands and invisible Vvc-700LD Laser Drone as back weapons.

I’ve also heard a mod that adds more content to coral weaponry, and an overdrive mode that mimics the second phase of Ibis series machines, giving your AC drastically increased performance for a short time like Gundam Trans-AM.

You’re probably thinking of the Armored Core Armoury Mod. It’s add in a load of new weapons and parts. Things like Coral weapons, incendiary weapons, parts that boost Coral damage when you use core expansions, parts that spawn floating mines when you quick boost. As well as, weapons the mimic some of the bosses attack including the Ibis drone, and the Ice Worm missiles.

You must mean the "Ibis Weapons" mod. A new update for patch 1.05 has been released, along with more modded weapons. That mod, along with this video's showcased mod, are compatible.

Reminder that SOL 644 is the size of a mobile suit from Gundam, so now you can basically pilot one. (Although this playable version seems smaller since it isn’t as big as ALLMIND’s mech, which is just Ayre’s SOL 644 but modified.)

To be fair, the Ephemera is also supposed to be unmanned Edit:"Core part for the EPHEMERA unpiloted ACs, developed long ago by the Rubicon Research Institute. An old development quirk allows for piloted operation, but the core box makes only perfunctory concessions for a human occupant."

@@MidAirMamba There would likely still be issues with things like sensory limitations, a drawback also noted in the descriptions of the Ephemera parts, with the Ephemera actually being an unmanned AC only pilotable due to an engineering quirk

How did you customize the ID’s? I used the ID for the redshift but it wasn’t invisible and I couldnt have the arm cannons use it.

If you are talking about the IA-C01W1: NB-REDSHIFT Coral Rifle, then you only need to use one file, wp_a_2631, instead of splitting between right "r" and left "l" .partsbnd.dcx files. Even then, the arms will change from their normal posture (this is noticeable on all three handheld plasma rifles).

That is more than sol 644 and less at the same time. Those attack are from Walter's AC and weapons. It it possible to make those dashes work?

Hello, may i ask how do you change the id of the mod ? do just change tge name of the file or is there some program that i need

Each .partsbnd.dcx and .tpf.dcx file included in the mod comes with four digits that you can change and make it match the ID of another part. The limitation for an end user lies in respective parts classes (e.g.: you cannot turn an assault rifle into a Karasawa without actually editing the mod in DSMapStudio). 1. You will need the ModEngine 2.1 tool in order to make the mods function. Download here: github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases 2. Search your PC for Armored Core VI's Steam game folder. Path should be the following: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON\Game 3. In the "Game" folder, extract the ModEngine 2.1 .rar file you downloaded as a new folder. 4. Within the "ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64" folder, create a new folder that you can name at will. I will use "[Insert folder name]" as an example. 5. Open the file "config_armoredcore6.toml" as a notes file and edit the following line: mods = [ { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" } ] Add a "," and { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "[Insert folder name]" } so that the end result is: mods = [ { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" }, { enabled = true, name = "default", path = "[Insert folder name]" } ] 6. Create a folder named "parts" in the "[Insert folder name]" folder. 7. Extract the desired ".partsbnd.dcx" files from the mod files into that "parts" folder. 8. While Steam is open, run the "launchmod_armoredcore6.bat" executable included in the Mod Engine folder. Extra: Parts IDs can be changed by renaming the .partsbnd.dcx files. @tinkhec9346 well, ac5 ac's move even slower than both ac4 and ac6 ac's and that's a game that canonically takes place after ac4, so i don't know what you mean by that.
