Skylanders is one of the only franchises out there that consistently released game which let you play as some of the series most iconic and powerful villains! In this video I will breakdown every time this was possible, from trap tea, to imaginators, from kaos traps to kaos trophies, and from bowser to Dr. Neo Cortex! Enjoy!

Playing as golden queen was like opening a new chapter in my life. My eyes would widen as I would reach maximum happiness, no joke it was better than the birth of my son. Never have I ever looked forward to playing a game for such a specific reason. Golden queen was the prime of life. I can never relive that moment no matter how hard I try. I can only gain nostalgia for how it used to be. Life used to me so great my then and I truly hope that the next skylander game captures her essence in such a way I can relive that moment.

Mesmerelda should’ve been a doom raider in Trap Team. If not TT, she should’ve been a character in Imaginators.

Trap Team and the capturing of villains was what got me into Skylanders. I remember going to Toys R Us, and trapping Brawl and Chain with the water trap and I loved it. And that was almost 10 years ago at this point. Crazy how old we are now.

I’ll always remember Custom Robot Arena letting you get all the villain robos during the end game and they were all super OP.

honestly, trap team is one of my favorite games because of plaything the game a second time only using villians, if you think skylanders is becoming dry, DO TRAP TEAM WITH ONLY VILLIANS

Great video. You know who would’ve been a great returning villain in imaginators. To have a full fledged figure and moveset. CHEF PEPPER JACK. He was a fan favorite everyone loved him why not him over grave clobber or even tae kwon crow. He could’ve stayed in dark. Remove hoodsickle because (hot take) he’s plain garbage. And have tae kwon crow there. Come on toys for bob.

Trap Crystals were a gimmick I wish they kept throughout the last 2 games. Having a swap in buddy was just a gamesaver, and guys like Threatpack and Brawlrus were fun to use. The talking portal and the crystals themselves were amazing too

It would have been cool if the imaginators were backwards compatible with trap team and worked as a trap with the villain in

Imagine if in skylanders giants, when playing as a giant the level changes to a smaller size so it turns into a different level for the giants, but it's the original level for the core skylanders For any arkyan war machine/ giant boss fight ( when playing as a giant) your the right size for dealing some proper damage an it could be like chapter 6 of giants where you have a fist fight with the war machines

I’m glad they kinda implemented traps in superchargers so if you bought a lot of traps you could still use them

Never really thought about the villains in Skylanders much. Probably because the heroes themselves feel interesting and various enough. Do I really want to play as Kaos or a chompy?
