This is Class of 09, a parody quote “anti-dating” sim game-where in a comically exaggerated 2000’s America, I got to release my inner bad white girl.
A friend and I went into this completely blind, and you’re going to see the shocking things we saw.
I knew somewhat what I was going to expect, but surely it couldn’t have gotten worse…right?

It's more of, if you don't want to listen to the same boring "something about sexual assault/suicide" jokes with no punchline/buildup for the 50th time, with no depth in the characters/dialogue for the whole game, you shouldn't play it. There's a lot more to say about it, just look at the detail of the bad reviews of it on steam compared to the good reviews

It's as close to real as possible. Only the text is exaggerated for comedy. Everything else is pretty close to real at that time well besides the shootin

I was in the class of 2009 (born 1991 in America) and this series captures a very specific vibe but all the horribleness is greatly exaggerated for comedy lmfao.

No matter what, its peak anyways. Of course people get tired of the jokes, but the game is not that long, and its based on the early 2000’s. Of course the humor is gonna be edgy! Its a good game for me at least. If its offensive to you i think you havent played much games.

I just realized that the Counselor's voice sounds like an impression of Ilich Garduola, a former teacher and voice actor who used to work for ADV and Funimation, before he killed his career by disappearing with a 16-year old girl that he was planning to elope with. Given that information, this character now feels even creepier.

The Creator of this game has some... Opinions on his Twitter regarding stuff like white men and asian people. So if you ever feel like the "White people" jokes are a bit extreme. Or that the "All men are trash" trope in the game was a little exaggerated. Remember that the guy who made this isn't exaggerating it in his mind. And geniuenly thinks this is stuff that 100% happened, trust me bro, type of deal.

She's actually... kind of a horrible person in a lot of ways. She's relatable, and very tragic in many ways, but there are also a lot of moments where she just needlessly does some really, really horrible shit to people who genuinely don't deserve it, like how she abused Ari in the route where she dated her. Or when she and Emily ruined Jeffry's relationship with Karen just because they didn't like the idea of him being happy with another person.

Man, I wish you released this review like 6 months earlier because I bought it in plans of playing it and I didn't know it was this exagerated and woke. I actually graduated from highschool in 09' and highschool didn't feel like this. Is this an american culture garbage?
