Tbh as a hardcore shooter fan, having 300+ hrs in original insurgency and sandstorm I just quitted sandstorm at one point. Now I just play Rising storm 2 vietnam daily and squad with clan some times. In short it has pros and cons, gunplay and explosion they killed it, but the funky movements like you are a hover tank, singular spawn point with limited exposed routes to point, out of area restriction makes no sense so close to objective but still let's you shoot anyways? The pvp experience is dreadful on a losing team...

I would give anything for the comp scene to return. Level 650, there’s no more progression for us, but it’s my favorite game. I carry (almost) every game I play, consistently going 30+ on kills and I know there’s many people who feel these words personally as they perform similarly. I would BEG the devs for comp if I could 😔

I fucking hate being given the low 100 level players on my team constantly and then the other team has all the 300+ players. Shits making me tweak my guy

@@idontgotagun9867 Yeah the team balancing situation in terms of ranks and player count is out of hand, and whats worse is that the top players are usually the ones who get their team swapped mid game, completely ruining a team’s momentum sometimes.

At least its not 60 to a 100 kills like the cheaters do people will stop playing fps because of all the cheating ther saying every fps has 15% cheaters in every fps being played

Just a little request, can you cover ISMC2 project arbusto because it would make people aware of it. I’m not a dev or anything but I just want the mod to get some love. It’s basically a better ISMC but not many people know about it so there’s a limited number of servers. If you could do just a 10 minute video in local play, it would really help out the mod. Thanks

Genuinely people, I know there are countless guides out there on this but how, HOW do you get good at this game!? I've played FPS games my whole life and I'm usually at the top of the leaderboard in most, CoD, BattleField, CS2, Tarkov (Doesn't have a leaderboard but I'm decent), Apex... etc etc like I'm absolutely no pro or good at all and that is not my point, this isn't a brag I'm getting to a point, I just tend to adapt fast and do decently at the very least is what I'm getting at. However in this game, 300 hours in and I find myself playing co-op casually rather than PvP because even after ALL this time and experience I can't move 5 feet before getting destroyed not knowing what the hell is going on. I've tried every class, watched every guide and as stated I have 300h in this game as I love the gunplay, but it's the ONLY game where I go negative but BRUTALLY so like 0-17 most games even and I'm literally TRASH trash... like... what the hell am I doing wrong? 😭 Is this game just that different? Do I simply suck and can't adapt to this game for some reason? Or is this a common experience for people in this game? No matter the mode I'm doodoo and I keep getting spawn killed or shot no matter what hiding spot and I can't win any gunfight even when I get the surprise on an enemy I aim first, shoot first but nope, killed by another guy with full auto a mile away and I just don't get it. Is this the case of me just coming late to the party and the tiny audience of Sandstorm fans just know every pixel of every map and I don't know so I just get stomped or is this actually the normal Sandstorm experience? I just need to know if I should keep pushing or if I should quit because this game doesn't seem to be for me somehow. 😭

@@seanmoist5418 Shii bruh, 😭 had a game with a positive K/D just a few hours ago now, but that's it... One game. Again I'm not sure what the hell I'm doing wrong but perhaps this is just the game I suck at and I have to accept that. I love the game so I'll keep playing, it's just unfortunate how butt fooked I keep getting. Then again this might be because there's no SBMM so it's all a complete unbalanced experience. Don't get me wrong I'm NOT asking for that to be implemented, f that, I'm just saying it is chaotic at this time for me. But at the very least unlike CoD, if I get better at this then I'll get to kick ass unlike in SBMM games, I just have to figure out a way to survive spawning. 😅👍

I tend to take Insurgency much slower than a game like COD or BF just because you know there’s that chance you will be one hit killed. Have you tried viewing your matches in replay mode to see where your deaths are coming from, this helps me learn where I’ve gone wrong sometimes

Actually genuine advice. 😅 Why didn't I think of relays lol, I did that out of habit in CS2 so why didn't I think of that here, actual dum dum moment. 🤦‍♂️ Thanks man! 😋👍 I think the only problem is that this game is so addictive so one doesn't want to stop to watch but keep playing! 😝 I mean hell I'm getting destroyed and I still want to keep going, I can't get enough! 😎 So many tactical shooters out there but this has to be the absolute best gunplay of all time! So sad it's a dying game man, had such potential and now NWI isn't around anymore either so a new insurgency game in the future is out of the question too. At this point I'd even take a stupid Battle Royale mode for the game by Focus just to keep it alive but Idk that sounds ass tbh. Who knows, maybe history will ironically repeat itself and the modders made a new game out of its mechanics some day but in a different setting, I'm thinking like modern guns Russia vs US type stuff with Insurgency mechanics and gunplay, could be dope. 😋 The best part has to be the community man, guy asked me a question yesterday so I kindly replied only to be interrupted with a "Stfu bro!" When doing so. 🤣 Man I love the crazy people in this game. Anyway I'm just rambling unrelated crap at this point, thanks for the tip fr. Let's hope I die less from now on, started to go semi positive in the latest games now, no idea what I'm doing differently but perhaps I'm picking up where people are by heart now... Just took 300+h to get here. 😅😅😅

@@gamma2816 oh yeah I know what you mean when you say it’s addictive. It just gives me a feeling no other shooters do atm. I’ve got about 20days gameplay on pvp and been playing fairly regularly since it released for console. Even now I have off days. Today my aim has just been awful and been playing terrible but just want to play more 😂 Lots of people do know the ‘spots’ where it seems impossible to have been killed from. Use camos to your advantage to blend in, I prefer in the shade rather than in the sun for example. Limit movement in situations where this may give you away. Walk slowly when entering a building you clear rather than running too as sound plays a big part. Keep it up I’m sure you’ll improve. As long as you’re enjoying it that’s the main thing🙌🏻
