Man this brings back so many memories. My first game was Fifa 07 but this was my second and I played this the most. I do remember the player career being pretty shitty though compared to how. I’ll agree it’s way more realistic and I miss tones of what they took out, but the ratings system when you played games was about as good as neymar faking a dive. Every small thing you did would result in a deduction, if you injured and your player couldn’t run, because they were down on the ground, you’d lose points for being out of position. Plus the whole system was just really strict overall, I still miss th good stuff though.

Everything was top notch in this game except for the power control and AI. As you can see in the video, controlling the power of shot or cross in this game was extremely challenging. You often ended up overshooting the ball. It was indeed so difficult that the AI also regularly missed their shots even during one-on-one chances. It was not uncommon to see the match ending 0-0 with each team having 60% shooting accuracy or less. But detail wise, today's FIFA is nowhere near this game.
