I understand VAs like him for not reading/liking world quests cuz their voice. But remember, voiced world quests would also mean a ton of file size

Excellent point, us mobile players would have our devices more fried than they already are 💀 I do think it would be a nice idea to make world quest voice acting optional to download. Ofc, most people would want to download because they don’t want to read, but if they can’t download it then it could stay without voice acting.

This quest really needed to be voiced… world quest sometimes even lock map and Archon quest… so they are in fact important. Not to mentioned that Arlecchino’s ascension materials for both her and and the signature weapon are in this area specifically.

@@otakumarcus why would it crash with voice over on quest?…. It’s mostly animated so at most you just need lip sync and uploading the voice lines… They’ve also seem to have made improvements on the storage of the game… At least that would be my hypothesis… I’m not a game developer.🤔

@@AyumuTheTamer ay bro it might seem rude but i'm hanging on for dear life with 9gb left on my phone. Voicing 3hrs worth of world quests and probably 100 times more if we consider all the important ones will probably triple the size of the game.

@@ishansharma2463 not rude at all… again I am not a game developer, and have no idea how much storage voice over has… specially on mobile…. I know that console/pc and mobile have different storage requirements (checked online out of curiosity once) and phones have even more limiting storage space as of late… since phone companies tend to charge more for more memory…

@@AyumuTheTamerthis is also the reason why the NPCs look the same and have limited poses. Having a unique model would waste valuable resources and memory space. They also have to make sure that both PC, console, & mobile works the same. It’s important to consider how much memory space is being used to games because when you have too much data, the game will lag, crash, & possibly explode. Just look at Donkey Kong 64.

I get people saying the game fell off because they ran out of everything to do but there is no need to constantly compare genshin with other games and insult every little aspect of it.. if you don't enjoy the game just don't play it. Tell me I'm coping but I enjoy the game and the little things that live in the game. (I've been playing since the game came out)

The story quest wasn’t too long. I did it comfortably in two play sessions, and it was cinematic enough to keep me intrigued the whole way through.

U can do it if you stop bring greedy and see this as adventure game not for collecting primos there are many things to do ,so do it slowly don't rush it

Most old Genshin players complain about their own game because they have nothing to do when actually they finish everything way to fast the moment new content comes up, then leave to play hsr which is still new and has tons of content coming up (Their "planet" ideas could literally be infinite). Genshin Impact is reaching it's endgame, with only two patches left before Natlan which is probably going to give a major change to the game itself. So honestly players really shouldn't get greedy when the developers and management teams are working hard to plan out their stories. I remember one of my friends said to me when I was playing Genshin "This game is free?" Well, If you're patient enough. Jokes aside, the graphics and gameplay are all already so good for a free game, especially when it comes to Hoyoverse.

Not chat recommending Minsleif over Ashikai 🤡 Min is better at bite-size lore I guess but I find her reasoning not nearly as robust as other theorycrafters, her takes are often more for the click bait I feel Also I agree with Cy’s comparisons for Genshin vs other games- I think Genshin would really benefit from splitting off a team to work exclusively on QoL stuff, at least for a while

As a new player, the no dialogue quests are a pain to sit thru. I enjoy the gameplay and the main storyline. I dont mind doing the quests, but any quest that has more than 5 lines with no dialogue is an automatic skip.

Honestly, I think if genshin voices all the world quests, the patches after the main story line would feel more fleshed out because it feels more official, like part of the main lore (which it is) rather than optional content you can skip without missing anything. Also because it's just easier to go through a story, especially lore heavy and long ass ones, with voice acting. Personally my ADHD brain makes it difficult to go through, which is a shame because I love those world quests. I end up just watching someone else play through them so that they can read for me. Most people probably can't be bothered to do that.

I like to imagine that the person in charge of Genshin was raised by a strict kung fu master with unreasonable & unrealistic training standards which is the reason why he barely reads feedback & is completely stingy with resources.
