Really wish you would have finished the first game. That way you can appreciate how much this has improved over the original.

There is no other game out there right now that has the amount of re-play value this game has. Probably one of the most underrated games of all time imo. I've put over 1,000 hours into nioh 2 and im still finding myself trying new builds, new ways of fighting enemies and combos. its actually nuts.

Epic shit seeing you go at this now. I anticipate more gameplay from this game! Little advice, ki is key, ya wanna really maintain that throughout combat because a lot of these enemies can just pile drive through you ki so quickly.

Mythymoo i love you for playing one of my fav games here is some tips for when you play: 1. Your "Core Stats" are linked to your to damage, health, ki, etc. Upgrading your "magic" stat will upgrade your damage with the switchglaive and boosting the effect of Onmyo Magic. When u are at the map where you can choose missions, click the touchpad/ or try to pull up the menu, if you go over to status and click the start button descriptions of each Core Stat is listed. 2. Onmyo Magic is OP, if you continue with your current build you'll see why eventually. 3. You earn skill points for each class of weapons and magic by using that weapon/magic. so in order to unlock more magic you have to use it in the game. 4. Weapons/Armor come in rarity starting from white, yellow, blue, purple, (green?) (Green was in the first one so not sure lol) Choose the best one for you. There may be times where the rarity is high (purple) but the lower rarity (blue or whatever) better fits the needs of the mission. Same goes with armor. There are sets in the game that give you bonuses. 5. Guardian Spirits all have different "Yokai Forms" When u do a burst counter. Brute, Feral, & Phantom. I personally like Feral and Phantom the best, they each have different timings for burst counters so play around with them. Burst Counters is a counter, for everyone but mostly the Yokai, when the enemy glows red as seen in 6:30 as they are about to hit you, that's when u do the burst counter. R2+ O (Circle) 6. Coop, The best part of the game imo, The game gets harder the more people in the world. (Up to 3 player coop) When you start you'll have a blue bar, Bascially you will all share that bar for deaths. when u die the bar goes down. When its completely empty the mission is over and you'll have to start all the way over. gotta get good. if u happen to lose your blue bar and want to get some back youll need to clear a Yokai Realm as seen in 17:20 and youll get some of the bar back. 7. That may be everything youll need to know if not (Some can comment below) youll need to figure it out on your own. if not you are always free to message me on twitter if needing anything. @AyeitsDevo (Prob seen me tweet at you a couple times lol) Could always play with u and may whenever he gets it But much love i really hope you finish this game. i loved the first one and this one

Brute is the easiest to parry with, imo at least, while the purple one is probably the hardest, but using brute usually means you'll take damage during the attack, while the purple one if you hit it is completely safe, while blue is a little down the middle, this is all my opinion but I hope it helps a bit

Fun fact, right before Gozuki you get the tutorial on how to sprint. The devs where not so subtly letting you know you should not fight that guy just yet.

Words of wisdom: if you’re in medium or better armor, blocking is actually pretty good in this game. Don’t worry too much about builds unless you’re going ng+, every weapon/style is at least pretty good(switchglaive is life though). Have fun!

This’ll be a good series to watch! Although, I’d only do coop to help your friend through it. Coop makes this game a walk in the park even more than in dark souls. I only used coop once in my first playthrough, and that was only for a DLC boss that was reused which I didn’t feel like grinding out a flawless battle for (I’m not great at this game, last I checked, I had over 530 deaths on my save file)

It’s possible to unlock flash attacks which let you switch weapons on Ki pulse mid combo, and on switchglaive there are skills that are attacks that transfer between stances mid combo seamlessly, like the changing of stances is an attack. It is incredibly smooth and feels badass to have flow together

Courage is better than heart in the early game, courage speeds up your ki recovery speed, heart mostly increases the amount of ki you have but you still get that ki back slower than having more courage
