And if you had been playing Daniel Negraneau he would have read your top pair and bet big on the flop, the turn and the river to cause you to fold. Only if you had two jacks to form tips and bet back at him he would likely have folded. If had you on a big pair or a possible flush, he might have continued to bet big to push you off the hand.

Also, when out of position you might think, or know, that you have a very good hand, but you could check bluff so that the person in position thinks you're less likely to have something good (e.g. three of a kind). I feel that, in this video at least, the narrator is assuming that their opponents are going to bet their hand and nothing more than that..?

I quite often check or go in meekly when I know I've got the nuts and go in big on the final round of betting to make it look like I'm trying to bluff and get them to call. Some times they call, sometimes they bluff and raise, sometimes they fold. But I am an amateur and only play in small $1 dollar games so I am mostly playing against other amateurs.

when you are playing more experienced poker players I find, I will actually check when I should raise because I want someone to think they have the better hand. If someone becomes more aggressive when you are certain they cant possibly have the better hand, often their ego will take over and it will become tribal. you would be surprised how common it is for over confidence to wipe out common sense.

The AA fold was way too nitty esspecially with so many draws, call once and look to fold on another jack, a club and maaaybe an 8 dependant on how crazy the guy goes. You just beat so much of the value bets in this spot I feel with this many players AJ and maybe JQ and JK with a club take the same aproach as well as obv all the bluffs that he could have in that spot. If you know the guy raising is a nit, sure look to widden your fold range but in general that was a bad play esspecially considering the price you were getting.

Yes, but sometimes they bluffing, make you think that they midium or weak cards, but in reallity they just trying to get more money put on the table :)

Hes probably raising a flush draw , hes unlikely to have a set as he would just flat call , probably had a jack

There were several players in the hand, it was a good play to bet with the nuts since there's a high chance of someone calling with a worse hand

This is goofy. The message of this video seems to be: never assume your opponent is bluffing. Folding the pocket Aces shouldn't have been an "easy" decision. Even after the flop, your chances were quite high.
