How good are you at reading their hand? Also, if I started poker all over again today, I'd do these 9 things: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j8eogLp8q5PaoXk.html

The "acting too quickly" i use exactly when i have a monster, and i've always extracting the maximum because everyone thinks i have nothing and they think i'm just calling because they have nothing, and i let them make the mistakes and the bets, and i shove on the river everytime and they call everytime thinking "he has nothing, so he's shoving to win a big pot". Thanks for your vids man, the last months i've started to be a profitable player and not just a recreational player, and your content is making a huge difference.

I personally try to be consistent with my actions at the table. Doesn’t matter if I’m bluffing or have the nuts I’m staring off blindly into oblivion until they call /raise or fold.

A lot of these tips seem to work in reverse in order to make people think you're bluffing (the first time they see it) when you have a badass hand. Especially betting with zero hesitation when you actually have something awesome 👌

Tip 3. LAG don't always 3bet with KQ since you already raise preflop and they don't have to do that any and they're in position. KQ is a good hand but still loses to a lot of other combos. Anyway thank you for posting these videos. Very informative.

these 7 all make sense. 1 single sign could be and usually is deceiving. It's very helpful adding the player's profile and your profile (!) to their action. That'd secure the reading. When a NIT x/r large, that's always a monster hand. When LAG x/r large on a scary board, slamming the chips on table, looking in the eyes against a NIT - that's a bluff (a little dog with big bark). When something does not make sense, then look at their profile. NIT - you're being trapped; passive CS suddenly raises you large - that's a monster hand; TAG bets huge on a plain board with lot of chips in the middle - bluff; TAG bet/raises you huge on a connected board - that's a monster hand (protection bet); LAG does excessive thinking then calling - you're being trapped; strong thinking player keeps calling you on a plain board - they have a monster hand; LAG 3!-bets you large on flop after you raised him - a drawing hand.

I'm just wondering here. Thinking out loud. But every tip is like "Players will try and do the opposite", so act strong if they're weak type of thing. By why expect a rec player to even do that? Maybe they are just broadcasting the reality of their hand and don't even realize it?
@danielmeuler2877
@danielmeuler2877 Ай бұрын
Nearly all of the "Obvious Bluff Tells" I do the opposite. I talk when I have it. Shut up when I bluff. Over bet with the Nuts. #1 tell I do. I'll check call all the way to the River, than jam with any of the sets or straights.

Grabbing a stack of chips while you deliberate has been 100% a weak hand in my experience. I've bet every time and never been called.

It honestly is a reliable tell and I’ve found myself STILL annoyed that there are players dumb enough to think it will work.

On the flop or river he check raised? I'd say very few players bluff raise the river at low stakes.

#8 If you have a tough decision to make as to whether to call or fold, always call if your opponent is wearing sunglasses and a hoodie. Nothing says "I love to bluff" more than that outfit.

WSOP is banning chip-riffling this year citing that the noise is damaging to the ears. This is the dumbest rule I’ve heard to date. What about banning boom boxes and other loud music first.
