@@yGKeKe I think I've seen others do it too. Gets much more common if you loosen the definition slightly to allow 1 or 2 Archers at the start to assist with creeping.

I think right now it's mostly used to squeeze some gold for extra unit or two before the final all-in push. In this case acolytes are also sent into the fray, a bit of dps, meat shield and you can sacrifice for extra hp (DK) or mana (Lich).

That attack at 15:10 when you jump him from the zeppelin while he was creeping was so great, and the fact that he doesn't notice until his Demon Hunter is already dead, you keep repositioning your Death Knight out of harms way, Lich is invulernable, and in the chaos he beats his own Panda to death - what a beautiful mess.

I used to enjoy undead a lot back in 2008 when i was playing this game a lot. I played all the classes except human a lot but i have fond memories of ghoul rushing with dreadlord vampiric aura like a noob and having a ton of fun. :)

Why you gain the full HP with level up? Because the game treats base stats and added stats (Gauntlets of Strength) differently. Base stat increases always add the flat health, added stats keep the % the same. It's why Morphling gains health from Str Morph at low hp - because it's added as base Str.

The HP bump is because of STR stats increase when you lvl up.

Nice challenge : Play as Human and invisible sappers. Make opponents base destroyed suddenly in a few secs. (gather sappers for so long)

I have read a FFA guide in which somebody reported an Undead who was stuck in a bad place between 2 opponents moved their base to get into a better spot, and then said they got taken out early, and each neighbor thought the other had done it.

Maybe you *could* make this work, not by moving your base but by making an oddly efficient tower creep strat. You get the sacrificial skull to plonk down blight, build Zigs, then you build more Zigs further up and unsummon the old ones for profit, creeping up the towers to the enemy's base! Genius!

@@mitang7508 mate, ye gotta be more specific then that. is necro sitting at base catching sunshine or at frontline slapping with stick? did he catch aggro and you could micro him around to catch time to deal more dmg? did he took resources/time/que of another option? does he has upgrades? is he taking up upkeep threshold? now apply same to destro, is he in a corner doing nothing? is it in one shot range and gonna waste all mana into void? etc. when you measure all the loss, gain and compare, disparity will determine if it was W or L. add what your opponent doing too and its even bigger mess

And then at 7:11 he finds that Leon has Knights, note: both flying machines and knights are heavy armored, so I suggest to build magic dps units, there are 4 undead units with magic dmg, 1 is the Destroyer, but he can't make it yet due to flying machines ready to be massed, so second we got frost wyrms, technically flying machines soft counter frost wyrms and frost wyrms take a long while to build and mass, so third, we got banshee, for the current army comp Leon has, the only useful spells are curse and possess, possess requires your opponent to not kill your banshee while possessing and to not have much blacksmith upgrades (or spell casters) to get max value out of them, and curse is rng and can be dispeled and is easier to dispel ... Edit: It is easier to dispel because the units u curse is controled by the enemy and with archmage priests regenerate more mana and units that are cursed are recommended to not be attacked for maximum value of the curse. Also banshees are more expensive than necros.

Please, Grubby, make this challenge: 1. Start NE, build a Ancient of Wonders/War nearby the enemy base. 2. Enter the forest and start eating all the trees (but not enough to be caught by the enemy). 3. Once all the trees are gone, eat the trees at the border of your enemy base into you have devasted all his lumber supply. It will not be costly, and the only challenge may be building the Ancient without being caught.

Undead the way it's meant to be played: build a graveyard outside of your base and micro meat wagons to bring corpses to your gold mine, because corpses are your core resource. An acolyte may only mine while it is standing on a corpse.

@FollowGrubby, an idea for your video: 1. 1v1 bnet game 2. Start a fight and lose it, call it GG (cause otherwise you will beat him) and tell him you would beat him anytime you play UD 3. Invite him to a custom game like Hu opponent did from the ladder 4. create FFA map like that Hu 5. your opponent will laugh and say it's an FFA map, agree and add easy computer" 6. Steal computers worker 7. Delete all evidence of Undead from the map (game), including blight 8. Beat your opponent and ask him where he is cause you cannot find him as undead.

@@FollowGrubby Lets say he picked Hu, you picked Undead and the Computer is set to elf, you steal elf's worker build an elf's base then selling all undead's buildings tell the opponent that comp beat you, he would probably laugh then elf beats him cause he knows you're playing undead, it would take some time till he realize that you are the elf, cause he would see you harassing him and so as undead, but it is important to take same heroes as computer did.

I remember being very disappointed when I saw warcraft 3 death and decay. The sound and the visual effects were way cooler to me in warcraft 2 with the dead flowers and all that. Warcraft 3 one doesn't look as dangerous and definitely doesn't sound as dangerous.
