You got the Wrong gun in BFV, the slowest full Auto gun in the Game is the Trenchcrabine of the sniper class(it has a full auto mode in the spec tree) it got a 360 ROF

According to me, the Chauchat is one of the best weapon in BF1, once you handle it, it’s a really deadly machine, I prefer fastest RPM though

The Chauchat? Inaccurate? To each their own, but the Low Weight has got one of the best spread decrease per second values in class and some of the best hipfire spread. And if you have trouble hitting targets at long range such as at 8:45, I'd suggest tap-firing - the Chauchat is like a Medic SLR except for the Support class.

@@LeoHernandez.117 I was thinking that might be the case. Because on PC it is really good. It is very usable at both CQC and range. The telescopic is great if you are engaging at range a lot.

A note about the bullet velocity with a suppressor: In BF games, equipping a suppressor also means using subsonic ammunition (which leads to the crack of breaking the sound barrier not being a factor irl), hence the low velocity, since the bullets cannot travel at 343 m/s or above.

When using M60-E4, I suggest using M145 (3.4X) sight. You can actually see the centre of the sight. The iron sight will be still in the way but I’d say much better then other ones.

I really enjoyed the M60 in bf4 and the Chauchat in bf1. Slow RoF, but very powerful. The M3 grease gun is also one of my favorites. Never really liked the HCAR though.

Tbf the M-60 E4 front sight is skinnier on it's Infantry variant, I do believe the variant you carry was designed for usage on a Helicopter door mount.

In BF1 for support and assault the magnification is 1x00 . You have like 2x00 that’s why you miss loads of shots due to visual recoil. And yes apelo lmgs first shots are always inaccurate but the magnification is also the issue

Well, in my opinion the Chauchat is a very good weapon for my gameplay. I have to admit that it's recoil can be a little bit annoying but it's quite powerful. You can absorb the recoil tap-firing (and it's way better at medium-long engagements).
