As someone who loved Jet Set Radio Future, I adore this style from the visuals to the music. Gameplay seems pretty solid too from what I've played. As a lot of potential and Hoyo are great at supporting their games so am hopeful.

I'm quite surprised the EN VA are actually good. Its usually shit when it comes to a gacha EN VA and only a couple with decent/good EN VA. Gameplay looks tight as fuck and smooth as well legit looking forward playing the game.

@@Kobsycho from what I've been seeing is definitely the straight comparison to other games (as always) especially HI3 and Wuwa since they're similar. while they are similar people really don't understand that it's meant to be similar and different at the same time. Wuwa is meant for open world like genshin, but zzz is meant for it to be another genre which is hack & slash, with other aspects of games like rogue like/stages. It's fine if other people don't prefer this type of genre but it gets annoying when everybody's trying to compare this and that. Even the world building and vibes are different, and i really love ZZZ for that. some people are also hating on the animation style, just because it's new and not like their other daily gacha games, which on the opposite for me, i love it way more than other gacha games.

@@meusauc Nah, even without the wack Chinese censorship, the narrative is paced like stagnant dogwater. The first comic bit is really indicative of this. It's already sort of, bloated in a way you can tell the dialogue is meant to feed exposition, but then it feels the need to interject the newscast commentary for comedy, grinding down the pace further. It's needlessly wordy in the way all Hoyo games suffer from too, like, why comment on the flash bang BEING a flashbang when, when you've already the illustrations of it being thrown, detonating brightly, and yet leaving the surrounding characters largely unharmed? That visually tells the audience that much already. I understand this is a game company and comic storyboarding is not their forte, but it undeniably reeks of them borrowing the stylings without understanding how to actually use it.
