Looks great Joey👍. Really classic color tones and lines. Reminds me of shaker furniture.

James Lovick-Earle that is my exact sentiment. Every video I learn a little extra to help push my work to the next level. I mean that bit about taping of the back blade of a pull saw is something I have struggled with for years. Not anymore.

Nice video series. The table looks great. Smile I also have the Stanley plane no.50, I find it very versatile. Due to its number of different knives.

Nice work Joey I can hear one of my old teachers saying "it's a marathon not a sprint" When it's finished, I think it would be interesting to see all of the tools you have used on the project laid out on the bench, I bet they would all fit into the old style carpenters bag. Chris

Nice work and a great skill builder! Curious about your bench as it looks portable from the first video but seems to be doing really well not racking or moving when you are planning and chiseling?

Great videos. Question? What are the the benefits of a double tenon (sometimes with a haunch) vs a single tenon?
@KingPostTimberWorks
@KingPostTimberWorks 4 жыл бұрын
It's really a question of how much timber will need to be removed in making the mortise, will that weaken the timber member. As far as I know haunch is used in doors where you want the but joint to be as air tight as possible.
