You've made some very positive changes there BUT as a lot of us have complained about that headrest angled too far forward in the Playseat challenge you still didn't reduce the angle of that. I literally have to put a pillow behind my back when I'm using my Playseat challenge because the headrest pushes my head too far forward and gives me a pain in my neck. Please at least make an optional part for the headrest that has less if a forward angle on it that we can buy and replace the headrest that comes with the Playseat challenge. I am very interested in replacing my Playseat challenge actifit with this one if you can give us an optional headrest piece. Please.

I agree, it's disappointing the head angle hasn't been addressed. I'm interested in getting one of these but want to use it while wearing a VR headset and have a strong suspicion that the headrest angle will cause issues.

@@ruckage1 yes I get a bad neck pain after a very short while because my head is pushed too far forward so I took a pillow off my bed and put it behind me under the angled piece to stop that happening. I suggested to Playseat about a year ago to adjust that angle and they told me they took it into account and thanked me. But it looks like they didn't take it into account. They could make a replacement piece that has a 10 - 20 degree reduction which would be a help. Or better still a piece which is adjustable.

@@Steve30x It does seem strange they didn't address that as it's a common complaint from what I've read - it's a very harsh angle. Looking at the assembly I wonder if the very top part could be rotated 180 degrees so that it bends backward instead of forwards and whether that would help alleviate the problem - it doesn't look like the tubing is keyed in any way.

@@ruckage1that does look like it would work. What's interesting is my head doesn't even touch the head. Rest of my place you challenge ever. So that's a weird issue, but I hope you can find a solution

@Playseat what are those two sideways sockets for in the -U- shaped bar part bellow the seat material seen on 1:27? I was wondering if I can use those to mount a gear shifter on the side, but there is no information or part provided to do so. Are you planning to release a metal mounting surface for the shifter on the side of the seat?

This looks like a nice upgrade over my Playseat Challenge Actifit, however I have to ask - is the footplate compatible with Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals? The reason I ask, is that the Velcro strap provided with the current version is not quite big enough to accommodate the base plate for the T-LCM's.

just use rubber pipe clamps to hardmount TLCMs to the playseat challenge, thats what I did, they dont move at all

Yes, T-LCM fits with 4 bolts to the pedal raiser mount.

It’s compatible as long as you’re six foot or under, otherwise there’s not enough room for your legs. Source I’m 6 foot 6 and don’t fit

I answer myself. Both T248 wheel and T3PM pedals fit perfectly and can be screwed into Playseat Challenge Logitech edition.

I am looking for this information everywhere - In my case its T300RS wheel and T3PA pedals.. I just dont know if it fits

@@martinundesser5158 i finally purchased it and both wheel and T3PM are perfectly screwed. (T248). I wrote to playseat support asking for that question and this is what they told me, quote, “ We can confirm that all Thrustmaster wheel/pedals fit on our Playseat® Challenge X Logitech.”

Absolute ball ache to connect the bottom two screws to the pedals no room for your hand and very fiddly. Connecting the wheel is even worse the two screws are not long enough and I am still unable to connect the wheel. Will have to go and buy longer screws.
