Having a light sim rig is very useful. In my gaming room, I have to move my rig slightly since I don't have a dedicated monitor for it yet. Price definitely needs to be lowered. It's pretty much convincing me to go with the GT Omega at this price point. Sorry playseat, but this is a bit agregious.

What even does "True Force Feedback" mean? Like how is that a selling point if the FFB is all dependent on what wheel base you mount to it.

If the steering wheel mount has give to it, like it wobbles at all, it loses some of it’s ability to give force feedback. The sturdiness of the seat allows the FF of the wheel to be fully used. So it’s true ff in that you experience the true forces.

@@zethyuen8859 for about the same price you could get the gt1-evo from sim lab, it’s about $450 without a seat. you have $250 to spend on a seat without going over the price of that scam. (not including international shipping depending on where you are)

@@spiyder yeah you're right but tbh the prices in my country are insane cos Fanatec doesn't ship here and probably other manufacturers too. For context the McLaren GT3 Rim literally costs 500 dollars if you buy from somebody importing them locally.

Do you think the VRS wheel base and Pedals is good for this? Or do you think that's overkill and I'm better off with the Alpha Mini and some other lesser pedals?

For those saying there is better for less money, yes and also no. Maybe if you want full alu rig it could be cheaper, but for 17 kg rig, easy to move around and with the sturdiness it provides (I have one with a DD and Heusinkveld load cells, and it it is rock solid, almost no flex noticable or negligible at least) there is nothing that comes close and is even more sturdy (less flex) than some 1000 plus euro rigs out there. It still should be cheaper considering what it prob costs to produce these things, but for portable, lightweight rigs that can handle load cells and DD with confidence, nothing beats it.

this fabric chair that you can get for 15 bucks is put on some metal tubes and has a pricetag 2x bigger than a G29. just get an ergonomic chair, and a box so your pedals won't move, you will thank your back and your bank account later.

Finally One I actually want , Aesthetically its Awesome , to those bitchong already, who needs a shifter mount for modern Racing anyways I've got handbrake and Quick shifter mounted on my current rig......and guess what .......I never use em ,except for V8 supercars (rarely) im sure most of us can find a mounting solution online be it TM handbrake and h pattern mounting plate or or some chinese made solution

@CleanPipes and rallying uses paddles to change gears btw, and I could use the clutch pedal as a Handbrake if I do play WRC 9 , so yes , Who needs a shifter mount indeed
