That all depends on the games Games already run at 60fps on PS5 right with perf modes, if you mean 4K 60 then that would need the dev to use PSSR to upscale the image There’s also the possibility in cases where fps in unlocked in quality mode with the pro it can push that to 60 if it was fluctuating at 40-50 before and is GPU limited Games that run at 120fps ( really 90 ish fps ) should be pushed to 120fps Again it depends on the games 🤙🏽

@@tcmfgamesofficial just remember how will pssr perform, it’s completely unproven. Being realistic to get 60fps constantly on all third party titles in quality modes you will need the equivalent of a 4070s, that’s 3x power with 2x performance. It’s a huge leap to double frame rates and increase detail, retracing and resolution it’s not going to happen. Unlocking fps can be a risky one, it’s fine if your running high frame rates like we do on pc, but lower frame rates slowdown can be very noticeable and ruin the whole experience. I think Sony is hinging a lot on pssr to cut down the spec enhancements and cost. It certainly won’t be anywhere near dlss on the nv cards as this is basically setting the bar and all upscalers can’t seem to come anywhere close. It’s going to be a fine balance to get the ideal frame rates, detail and resolution. If rumours are true and they are getting out of hand a 30fps may be upto 40 which is a 33% increase. The cpu increase circa 10% will be used to alleviate the gpu to push frame-rates when using fssr I would presume, but to what success. There is so many unknowns. But the biggest factor is games are getting more difficult to run and maintain detail and resolution. So that additional power will just maintain the current levels with slight enhancements.

Doesn’t mean that at all but making stuff up makes people feel smart. They want more bangers with many play hours like palworld and party animals. They don’t wanna spend 100-300 million and some nub in mom’s basement finishes it in 10 hours. Many youngins play on tablets and cell phones and don’t play single player games. They are going by what their numbers say not trying to kill the industry.

RX7700 XT most likely, modified by Sony, you can have look at performance of this cars on PC, but the thing is that it will be better utilised by Sonys first party studio's, anyway, leaks are always insane but then reality slaps people in the faces

Helps keep initial purchase cost down. Even if they double or tripled the amount out of the box, non-casual gamers would want to install expanded storage beyond just the hypothetical 2 or 3 TB especially if most of the bought games aren't the disc version. At least Sony offers the individual owner to choose the internal SSD brand, model & capacity size (within reason) thus allowing owner to have more say in the price owner pays vs Microsoft's contracted partnership offering only 1 brand & 3 capacity buying options.
