Even though portal does 1080p it looks better on my iPhone 15 pro max even at 720 because it’s a smaller screen and has OLED display. So backbone is the win for me .

If you read it properly ps4 pro and ps5 remote play at 1080p so that with the better hdr and oled on top end phones and android are going to look better

I’m still planning to get the backbone for like home & serious PlayStation gaming Butttt I’m really in love with my backbone. I’m able to play games from the iPhone App Store and I really love the fact that’s it’s not for p5 remote play only . My jobs Wi-Fi is strong enough for me to remote play,but when I leave the games that don’t lag on me are the A Apple Store games. And let me tell you call of duty mobile on the backbone is different lol I caught 2 dubs back to back 1st day downloaded lol

The backbone is trash. Anyone who chooses it over the Portal is just salty we didn’t get a full PSP/Vita type handheld. The Portal is more comfortable and the screen is way better on size alone. Also I don’t have to lose access to my phone to play. I owned a backbone for a week and sold it. The Portal has been a much better experience so far.

Look pappi, you have solid points 🤷🏽‍♂️, but where it falls knee deep is that the portal can't work while I'm at work, on vacation, at sneaky link's crib, or while on a heist 🥲. The backbone just allows portability-- I think that's the only vantage for $100 less.

@@dynomitecalo7560 lol valid, but that’s all dependent upon you. Personally, I never play anything competitive handheld, just single player games. If I’m at work I don’t have time to dedicate to a PS5/Xbox game. If I’m on vacation, I’m getting the wifi regardless of if it’s a cruise or a hotel. If your sneaky link doesn’t have wifi, she’s probably got roaches. On a heist I could see the backbone taking up less space in your pocket, so fair enough.

Not the backbone of u have Xbox cloud streaming or the Apple App Store then u can use the backbone to just stream the games on mobile data u don’t even need Wi-Fi that how I do it when I don’t have Wi-Fi to play my pa5 I use my PlayStation back bone to stream Xbox games like GTA 5 and atomic heart and a bunch of other games too so in my opinion get the backbone if u don’t have a ps5 cuz u don’t even need a Xbox and u can still play their games
