Have just come across this ,my it stirred some beautiful memories. Lived in Australia for 20 odd years,had never heard of John until then, was asked by an Aussie neighbour to go with her to his concert as her hubby didn't want to go. Can honestly say it was one of the best live performances I ever saw. John had the most incredible voice,his range was off the planet and he had such a warm funny ,beautiful interaction with his fans. He was brilliant & I became a firm fan. This duet with the lovely soulful Olivia gave me goosebumps ,they were such great friends, a very special bond.❤

We were so fortunate to grow up with John Farnham on the radio, records or when my mum would play one of his songs on our piano in the lounge room. After he recorded Rain Drops Keep Falling on my head she went to our local music shop and bought the sheet music. That song will always remain special. I was 11 when it was released. Not long ago read the book PLAYING TO WIN. It is a fantastic biography on John Farnham, Australia nearly lost him over board aged 11. Thank god he clung on. Olivia Newton John, she's a diamond, sparkling forever in our skies and in peace now. We are so proud of Livvy and Johnny.

....1st fell in love with Olivia in Grease back in 1978 when i was 12; i still adore her today!!! & john farnham, well what can i say, his voice always bring tears of joy to my eyes!

For me is this one of the greatest lovesongs and this version is so real.... I feel it everywhere in my body. The combination is one you never would expect but it works great. His voice is amazing.

Oh wow, to hear this again brings back to many memories, my wife and I have been to so many John Farnham concerts including this one, The Main Event. Around 2007, I was lucky enough to be invited by a friend to perform this song with her at a couple of her concerts, we were both in tear every time we sang it. I was also asked, and persuaded by my wife, to sing it at her funeral in 2019, I barely made it through.

Oh Olivia what a voice its like being enveloped in silky chocolate I've loved her voice since if not for you and it's better now loads more character.
