The symbolism behind this is beautiful. Quite interestingly since September began, the theme everywhere seems to be: birth, death, rebirth. You make mixed media so beautiful. I remember back in 2011 I attempted pointillism with a mermaid, hahahaha I flipped the table. I got frustrated xD hahahaha , so props to you for being patient enough to do that type of art style.

If its a real skull, that would be kinda creepy. but anyways, this piece of art is beautiful! Everyone around me sees death as something horrible, but its the circle of life. We humans aren't special when it comes too the circle of life. Death is part of life, while life is part of death. We will all meet again in the afterlife

I think this roughly describes my spirituality, in that birth and death are largely the same. Both are beautiful and often traumatic yet totally necessary, and that life, love, and happiness are what's found in between. Very gorgeous artwork, thank you for sharing!

Wow this is soo lovely, it really speaks to my happy place. Having read all of Terry Prattchet's Discworld books, Death's voice boomed in my head as i read this💖🖤 This needs to be hung on a wall with a spot light in the correct spot to show of how amazing this looks. Someone else said they wanted this as a tattoo, and i would love to incorporate this into my next sleeve idea, just shame you can't get the raised texture without intense body mods(that im not sure are legal in Norway) Thank you for posting again, i hope you and your little one are both doing okay😊

This is really beautiful! I like the idea and concept, as well as how you realized them on paper. I kinda feel like I would have put more color, or at least shading in there, but I can totally see why you left it somewhat blank except for the dots. In a way, they remind me of dust, and it makes me almost worry that the baby may inhale the dust - which would be a part of death's aura - and maybe get sick... But I also feel like Death here has a kind of... Motherly presence, almost. Like it's saying "Hey, child... We will meet again one day, so don't be sad; don't miss me. Please don't cry," which is how I interpreted the thing when I first saw the picture and the title...

@@nostalgiaxx-fc38 I thought it was the other way round. Like the Act of birth is such a fragile moment, you balance between death and life for many hours. Something bad can happen very quickly, for the baby and the mother. When the baby is born, death takes a look at it. Its a tiny moment between death and the baby but its bittersweet, so death cries because he is so moved by life. The baby comforts him, hence "please dont cry" and then death lets him go to its mother. 🌠 Sorry for the edits, english isnt my mothertongue.

You should put this design online. There's a specific online store called design by humans where poeple can upload designs and they can get them on t-shirts, sweaters, tank tops, phone cases, etc. I thjink that would so cool and it would look amazing on a shirt! I know I'd buy it!
